Cruel Exit for Nurzynski Against Amiel

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Piotr Nurzynski
Piotr Nurzynski

Yet another preflop all-in contest saw a confrontation between Piotr Nurzynski and Alexandre Amiel with the next former EPT Main Event champion at risk.

Piotr Nurzynski: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Alexandre Amiel: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop gave Nurzynski the top set and he had very little to fear. However, the {6-Hearts} turn and {7-Hearts} river gave Amiel an unexpected ten-high straight and sent Nurzynski to the payout desk in 51st place.

Cedric Schwaederle: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Mateusz Szymanski: {k-Spades}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and the aces held to give Schwaederle a nut flush to double.

Shaw's Double Leaves [Removed:355] Short

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Carl Shaw raised it up to 24,000 in the cutoff. Alexandros Kolonias let go from the small blind before [Removed:354] then pushed all-in from the small blind. Back on Shaw, the Brit snap-called with the inferior stack and they were flipping in the following showdown.

Carl Shaw: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
[Removed:354]: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Nothing changed on the {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and Shaw remained ahead on the {5-Spades} turn as well even though [Removed:355] now picked up a gutshot straight draw. The {8-Spades} on the river was no threat for Shaw and he doubled for 274,000.

Dominik Panka
Dominik Panka

In a preflop raising war involving Mario Navarro on the button and Dominik Panka in the small blind, it was the latter who ended up as the player at risk for what appeared to be 429,000.

Dominik Panka: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Mario Navarro: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The dominated pair was also covered in the suits as well and Panka found no miracle escape on the {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades} runout to see his bid for a second EPT Main Event title come up short.

Lars Koerts: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Michal Hryncewicz: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} to not help Koerts as Hryncewicz held with the ace-kicker to bust him.
