Shehadeh Pays Off Huspeka

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
David Huspeka
David Huspeka

On the tail end of a hand between David Huspeka and Luigi Shehadeh, the former bet the {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts} river for 77,000. Shehadeh gave it some consideration and tossed in calling chips to get shown the {k-Spades}{9-Clubs} for two pair.

A sigh by Shehadeh followed as he flashed the {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for the flopped top pair and missed nut flush draw.

Hossein Ensan raised to 32,000 from the hijack and Manuel Labous three-bet shoved for 341,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Ensan looked over and asked for a count. The dealer confirmed the amount and Ensan called.

Manuel Labous: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Hossein Ensan: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for Labous to hold and double up with two pair, sevens and fives.

Double Ups for Mateos and Cortellazzi

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos open-shoved for a short stack of just 273,000 and was looked up by Valentino Konakchiev.

Adrian Mateos: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Valentino Konakchiev: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The kicker played on the {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} board and Mateos doubled.

Konakchiev then raised to 35,000 and Andrea Cortellazzi shipped it in for 365,000 on the button. Michal Hryncewicz went all-in over the top from the small blind and Konakchiev got out of the way.

Andrea Cortellazzi: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Michal Hryncewicz: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Cortellazzi improved on the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop, then retained the lead on the {3-Diamonds} turn and {9-Diamonds} river.

Robert Burlacu: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Gab Yong Kim: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Kim made a pair of queens to nullify Burlacu's pocket pair for the elimination.

Dziubdziela Eliminated by Fitoussi

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

In a battle of short stacks, Marcin Dziubdziela and Bruno Fitoussi got their stacks of fewer than ten big blinds in before the flop.

Marcin Dziubdziela: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Bruno Fitoussi: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop gave Dziubdziela a flush draw and the {a-Diamonds} turn added a gutshot. However, the {6-Diamonds} river was a blank and the stacks were counted. Dziubdziela had 138,000 at his disposal while Fitoussi had that covered by a mere 10,000 chips.

Ensan Eliminates Schwaederle

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Soon after his previous double-up, Cedric Schwaederle open-shoved for 218,000 and Hossein Ensan moved all-in over the top from one seat over. All other opponents behind folded and the cards were flipped over.

Cedric Schwaederle: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Hossein Ensan: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop gave the Frenchman a flush draw to go with his overcard but it was all over after the {q-Clubs} turn, which made the {a-Spades} river bittersweet. Schwaederle's run has ended in 50th place for a payday of €17,780.

Mulder Takes from Vinayagamoorthy

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Teun Mulder raised to 25,000 from the button with the {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and David Vinayagamoorthy defended his big blind with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, they both checked to the {7-Spades} on the turn. Vinayagamoorthy checked again but Mulder bet 45,000. Vinayagamoorthy responded with a raise to 125,000 and Mulder called.

The river completed the board with the {10-Spades}, Vinayagamoorthy checked and so did Mulder to claim the pot with the turned pair of sevens.
