Checking in on the PokerStars Ambassadors; Lococo Out

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo
Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo

Jeffrey Reardon raised to 2,200 and got calls from Orpen Kisacikoglu and Alejandro Lococo.

Lococo checked out of the blinds as the flop came {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and the other two players also both checked. The turn was the {k-Spades} and Lococo check-called 2,600 from Reardon, with Kisacikoglu folding.

The river was the {k-Diamonds} and Lococo immediately shoved for around 6,000. Reardon snap-called.

Lococo showed {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for trip kings, but was outkicked by Reardon's {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and was eliminated.

Talbot Bluffs, Gets Taken Out

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Parker Talbot
Parker Talbot

Parker Talbot was in position in a heads-up pot against Ambreen Mirza on a flop of {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Mirza checked on the flop and Talbot bet 1,700. Mirza check-raised to 6,500 and Talbot called. Mirza sized up to 11,000 on the {8-Spades} turn and Talbot again called.

The river brought the {4-Spades} and Mirza checked. Talbot bet out most of his stack to leave himself with just 400 and Mirza called. Talbot tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for missed clubs and Mirza showed {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} to win the pot with two pair.

"A chip and a chair, right? How about four chips and a chair?" said Talbot, who had been saved from elimination in the previous level by hitting a one-outer.

Talbot managed to triple up the next hand after getting it in with pocket tens and then got it in in a heads-up pot against Dominik Nitsche.

Parker Talbot: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Dominik Nitsche: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Talbot couldn't be saved as the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} to mark the Team PokerStars Pro's elimination late in the day.

"Recreational Player" Nitsche Having Fun at Table 15

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Dominik Nitsche was in a heads-up pot against Christian Dressler on a board of {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts} with around 37,000 in the middle.

Nitsche put out a river bet of about 21,300 and Dressler thought for a minute before folding, leading those at the table to speculate whether Nitsche was bluffing.

"I don't know what he would do in that spot!" laughed Lawrence Bayley.

"I'm just having fun. Recreational player," the accomplished high-stakes pro replied.
