Action was heads up with 9,000 in the pot and {7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} on the board when Adrian Mateos checked. Sam Grafton fired 12,500 and Mateos thought it over before he ultimately tossed his hand in the muck.

Sam Greenwood raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and Mike Watson called from the button. The blinds got out of the way and action was heads up. The flop was {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and both players checked. They checked again on the {k-Clubs} turn and the {4-Clubs} river. Greenwood turned over {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, but Watson had {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} to take the pot.

A few hands later, Watson raised to 2,500 and Juan Pardo raised to 9,000 from the next seat over. Watson called and the flop was {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Watson checked the flop and Pardo bet 10,000, but Watson fired back a check-raise to 27,000. Pardo gave it a moment of thought before he gave up the pot.

Watson is on the move back towards the starting stack after falling behind early.
