Danny Tang opened to 12,000 before calling the 76,000 jam from Preben Stokkan in the big blind.

Tang had the {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Stokkan had {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Stokkan secured the double after the {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} runout.

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

Stephen Song moved all in from middle position and found a call from Juan Pardo in the small blind. Song was at risk heads up as the cards were turned over.

Stephen Song: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Juan Pardo: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Song was looking for an ace or hearts on the {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop but found none, while the {10-Clubs} turn and {10-Hearts} river changed nothing. Pardo crossed the 600,000 mark as Song made his exit.

A short time earlier, Johan Guilbert was also headed toward the exit as the field nears the bubble.

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Davidi Jacob Kitai
Davidi Jacob Kitai

Davdi Kitai limped in from the small blind and called when Bruno Volkmann made it 15,000 from the big blind.

Kitai check-called for 8,000 on the {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop which brought in the {q-Hearts} turn. Kitai then check-jammed for 72,000 effective after Volkmann bet 35,000. Volkmann called for his tournament life.

Bruno Volkmann: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Davidi Kitai: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Kitai was ahead with pocket aces but Volkmann had a flush and straight draw. The {a-Hearts} river gave Kitai a set but Volkmann ended up with the nut flush for a double up.

Nitsche Eliminated by Divari

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

Dominik Nitsche was all in for 1,000 from the small blind. Sita Divari and Pedro Marques both limped before Andras Nemeth raised to 20,000 on the button. Both Divari and Marques called.

The flop was {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Divari bet out for 40,000. Nemeth was the only caller.

Divari shoved the {10-Spades} turn and Nemeth folded. Divari turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for two pair and Nitsche revealed {3-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a gutshot straight draw.

The {q-Clubs} wasn't enough and he was eliminated.

Kanit Jams on Silva

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Mustapha Kanit opened to 8,000 from early position and was called by Pablo Brito Silva from the hijack.

Silva called bets of 6,000 and 22,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to show {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

Kanit then jammed as the superior stack and after burning through a couple of time bank cards, Silva called of his last 72,000.

Kanit had the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for for eights full of kings, while Silva had {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for an inferior full house.

Sitbon Seals His Own Fate

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Julien Sitbon
Julien Sitbon

Julien Sitbon limped in from under the gun, and the action folded around to Pavel Plesuv in the small blind. Plesuv raised to 17,000 and Ben Heath got out of the way in the big blind.

Sitbon called to see the {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, where Plesuv continued for 12,000. Sitbon slid in the call and the action repeated with a bet of 16,000 on the {4-Clubs} turn.

Plesuv sized up on the {6-Clubs} river, sliding out 58,000 and leaving a single 1,000 chip behind. Sitbon faced a decision for almost all of his remaining stack, and used three time banks before making the call.

Plesuv revealed {k-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a straight, and Sitbon showed his disappointment while mucking his hand. He was left with just 10,000 behind, which he promptly lost to Heath blind vs blind on the very next hand.
