Mustafov Crushes the Cowboys

Vlado Banicevic opened from middle position to 1,400, Julien Sitbon called one seat along as did Amir Mozaffarian in the cutoff. The action folded to Fahredin Mustafov in the small blind who reraised to 8,000. Koray Aldemir folded the big blind and the action was back on Banicevec who called. Sitbon folded to Mozaffarian who elected to four-bet to 26,500 and Mustafov then five-bet all in for 41,600. Banicevic folded and Mozaffarian called off the remainder of his stack putting himself at risk.

Kudzmanas Accumulating Chips

Seungyeol Kim was under the gun against Marius Kudzmanas in middle position.

The board read {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and action checked through with 27,000 in the pot.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and Kim checked. Kudzmanas bet 16,000 which got Kim thinking before the Korean made the fold sending the chips to Kudzmanas.

Marques Bets Three Streets

Kubanychbek Abakirov raised to 1,400 from the hijack. Pedro Marques called in the cutoff and Armin Rezaei completed in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and action checked to Marques who bet 1,300. Only Rezaei called.

The {7-Hearts} was the turn and Rezaei check called the 6,400 bet from Marques.

Marques eyed up Rezaei chip stack after the river brought the {10-Spades} before betting 20,000 in which Rezaei quickly folded.

Schwaederle Claims It On The River

Seungyeol Kim raised under the gun to 1,500 and Cedric Schwaederle called on the button. The big blind called too to see a flop.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Kim made the continuation bet and Schwaederle called. The player in the big blind laid it down.

The turn came {9-Clubs} and Kim made it 5,000 to go. Schwaederle once again called, and the river came the {10-Hearts}. This time it was Schwaederle who bet out for 14,500 and put Kim on the spot. He laid it down and Schwaederle claimed the pot on the river.

Gavrilovich Gets Richer

Jenya Gavrilovich opened to 1,600 from early position, Ludovic Geilich called from two seats along as did Samuel Ju and Audrius Stakelis in the blinds.

On a flop of {2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, Ju and Stakelis checked and Gavrilovich continued for 2,700, Geilich called as did Ju and Stakelis and the four players went to the turn.

The turn came the {6-Spades} Ju checked as did Stakelis and Gavrilovich bet 11,600 into the three remaining players. Geilich folded only for Ju to move all in for an additional 200 chips. Stakelis folded and Gavrilovich called to put Ju at risk.

Ju needed a heart to survive but the {4-Diamonds} river locked up the hand for Gavrilovich and sent Ju packing.

The board was {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Spades} and Velasevic bet 14,500. Chaoui paused for a while before moving all in for 35,300. Velasevic asked for a count but called before the count was finished covering Chaoui

Proudfoot Calls River Bet

Jonathan Proudfoot raised from under the gun to 1,400 and Tibor Nagygyorgy three-bet to 4,200 from late position. The rest of the table got out of the way and Proudfoot called.

The flop was {q-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Proudfoot check-called a 3,200 bet from Nagygyorgy. The turn was {7-Spades}.

Proudfoot checked the turn once again and called a 11,500 bet to see {2-Spades} on the river.

Proudfoot checked once more and called when Nagygyorgy fired 23,500. Nagygyorgy turned over {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Proudfoot showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} to take the pot with a flopped pair of kings.

Elsewhere at the same table, Rodrigo Seiji has taken his seat in search of his third title of the 2022 EPT Prague series.

Will Defending Champion Cowen Join the Action?

Robert Cowen's already picked up one cash here at EPT Prague, finishing 138th in the EPT Prague Main Event but he's also the defending champion of the €10,300 High Roller, so we might expect him to jump in at some point.

Earlier this year, he defeated a field of 271 players to win €475,410 after topping a star-studded final table featuring Adrian Mateos, Mike Watson and eventual runner-up Andriy Lyubovetsky.
