Niko Koop
Niko Koop

Bruno Fitoussi just relayed a massive hand to PokerNews that just took place on his table.

Niko Koop opened the action and was called by Filippo Gandini and Bruno Fitoussi. Michal Mrakes then jammed for 73,000 which prompted Koop and Gandini (160,000) to also commit their stacks. Fitoussi wanted to make it clear that he played his hand perfectly by folding.

Michal Mrakes: {a-}{q-}
Filippo Gandini: {k-}{k-}
Niko Koop: {a-}{a-}

The aces remained the best hand as the board ran out and Koop claimed two bounty chips as well as the significant pot.

Debregeas Finds an Unlikely (Near) Quintuple-Up

Level 17 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Loic Debregeas
Loic Debregeas

Thanisorn Saelor opened to 8,000 from early position and Igor Picone called in middle position, while the button and small blind also called. Loic Debregeas then three-bet jammed for slightly more from the big blind to put the action back on Saelor.

"I can raise?" Saelor asked the dealer, who confirmed that he could raise over Debregeas' short-stack shove.

"Yes! You can jam!" goaded Debregeas, who wanted to see a runout against as few opponents as possible.

Saelor four-bet jammed a stack of 85,000 and Picone then five-bet re-shoved to get the button and small blind to fold.

Loic Debregeas: {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Thanisorn Saelor: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Igor Picone: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Debregeas was quite behind but got some hope from the flop of {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. The {5-Clubs} on the turn then improved him to trips and the {k-Spades} river gave him a full house for good measure as he secured the unlikely near quintuple-up. Meanwhile, a side pot went to Saelor.

Hamilton Takes Heaps from Mrakes

Level 16 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Ian Hamilton
Ian Hamilton

Ian Hamilton opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by Michal Mrakes from the big blind.

Mrakes check-raised to 20,000 on the {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop after Hamilton continued for 5,000. Hamilton called.

Mrakes continued for 24,000 on the {a-Diamonds} turn and again Hamilton called.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board and Mrakes fired a third barrel of 38,000. Hamilton quickly made it 125,000 and was snap-called.

The EPT London Main Event had the {a-Clubs}{4-Spades} for aces full of fours, and upon seeing the hand Mrakes let out some expletives before mucking his cards.
