Grafton Takes from Holz

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Fedor Holz raised to 4,000 in the hijack and Sam Grafton re-raised to 20,000 in the small blind. Holz called and they went heads-up to a flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Grafton continued with a bet of 23,000 and Holz called to see the {10-Spades} on the turn. That slowed the action as both players checked to the {10-Clubs} on the river.

Grafton used a time bank before splashing in a bet of 28,000. Holz looked him up and Grafton showed the goods with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} to claim the pot.

Pardo Finally Forces a Fold from Wilf

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Juan Pardo and Saar Wilf were heads-up on a flop of {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} with just under 80,000 in the middle already. Wilf checked from the small blind and Pardo threw in a bet of 20,000 in early position which Wilf called.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Wilf checked again. Pardo slid out a bet of 30,000 this time which put Wilf in the tank. After a minute of deliberating, Wilf finally laid his hand down and Pardo was awarded the pot.

Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Gregoire Auzoux innocently raised to 4,000 in middle position and the action folded to Sam Grafton in the big blind.

"What's up buddy?" Grafton questioned as he threw in a call.

"Are you just trying to take my money?" Auzoux replied.

"I'm probably just going to check-fold," was Grafton's insight. The flop came {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Grafton quickly checked. "See, this one's easy for you."

Auzoux bet 5,000 and Grafton instantly mucked his cards.

Level 2 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Jean-Noel Thorel raised from under the gun and Timothy Adams re-raised to 10,500 from the big blind. Thorel called and the dealer spread the flop of {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

The two players each stuck in 25,000 on the flop and the {6-Clubs} landed on the turn. Adams led out with a bet of 55,000 and Thorel shoved all in. Adams called off his stack of 140,500 and the cards were tabled.

Adams showed {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens and Thorel was way behind with {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. The {8-Diamonds} completed the board and Adams earned a double-up, leaving Thorel on fumes.
