Vogelsang Gets Value With Aces

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. From the big blind, Alessandro Grilli led for 8,500 into a pot of about 30,000. Christoph Vogelsang was in early position and raised to 26,000 and after some deliberation, Grilli called.

Vogelsang announced aces and tabled the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}. Grilli hit the table in frustration and mucked.

"That's why he is one of the best," said a tablemate as Vogelsang raked in the pot.
