Lopez Shoves on Baumann, Dahan

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Three-handed on a flop of {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, Gaelle Baumann bet 25,000 from early position and was called by David Dahan in the cutoff. In the big blind, Emmanuel Lopez made it 85,000 and both opponents called.

The turn came the {q-Spades} and Lopez announced he was all in, having both Baumann and Dahan well covered. Baumann, with about 280,000 behind, tanked for a moment before folding, while Dahan quickly mucked.

Bendinelli Doubles Through Rheem as Cierco Caught in Crossfire

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Chino Rheem
Chino Rheem

Before the break, Anthony Cierco moved all in for around 30,000 and Chino Rheem flat-called behind him. Giuliano Bendinelli then three-bet jammed a stack of about 250,000 and Rheem called.

Anthony Cierco: {q-Spades}{5-Spades}
Giuliano Bendinelli: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Chino Rheem: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts} to give Bendinelli a straight to eliminate Cierco and double through Rheem, who was irritated with how the hand played out.

"I wanted him to re-shove," Rheem grumbled. "Back to square one!"

"Of course," said Bendinelli. "If I'm shoving eights, I'm shoving ace-jack and ace-queen."

"Yup," replied Rheem.

Salter Bets Big on the River

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Michael Wang bet 16,000 from under the gun on a flop of {8-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and was called by Jack Salter in the big blind.

Both players checked the {j-Hearts} turn as the river fell the {2-Spades}. Salter used a time bank before sliding forward a tower of blue 5,000 chips for a bet totaling 125,000.

Wang used two of his own time banks as he considered the decision, eventually deciding to fold.

Lopez's Broadway Takes From Peters

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

In a boated pot on a {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} completed board, David Peters checked in the big blind, and Emmanuel Lopez bet 160,000 on the button. Peters deliberated and tossed in a chip to signify a call.

Lopez tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a flopped straight, and he collected the pot to move over a million in chips as Peters sent his cards into the muck.

Pro Flops Trips to Eliminate Velasevic

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Danilo Velasevic opened from middle position and Gonzalo Pro defended in the big blind. Pro checked on the flop of {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Velasevic continued with a bet. Pro check-raised all in and Velasevic called off as the effective stack.

Danilo Velasevic: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Gonzalo Pro: {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Velasevic was in trouble as his opponent had flopped trips and the runout of {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} improved Pro to a boat as he eliminated the Serbian.

Sinclair Spikes the River to Double

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

Jack Sinclair raised to 16,000 from the cutoff as action folded to Fabiano Kovalski in the small blind. He shoved all in and Sinclair quickly moved his last 131,000, as well as his tiny pig card protector, into the middle.

Jack Sinclair: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Fabiano Kovalski: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Sinclair got no help on the {3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Clubs} board, but the {10-Diamonds} fell on the river to give him two pair, tens and deuces, and a double up.

Shimizu Dominated But Survives

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Takao Shimizu moved all in for 116,000 from the hijack, cutoff Alexandre Landron reshoved, and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Takao Shimizu: {a-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Alexandre Landron: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Shimizu was dominated and needed help to survive, but didn't get any on the {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop. The turn, though, provided the {3-Diamonds} and the {6-Spades} on the river was safe for him to double up.

Pihela Gets Two Streets of Value

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Igor Pihela opened the action from the hijack to 17,000 and only Hamed Sedini made the call on the button.

Both players checked on a flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. The {j-Diamonds} hit the turn and Pihela led out for 17,000, which Sedini came along.

The {5-Hearts} completed the board and Pihela elected on a bet of 19,000. Sedini snap-called and was shown the bad news as Pihela rolled over {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for turned top pair and the best hand when Sedini quickly mucked.

Gaelle Baumann: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Emmanuel Lopez: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Baumann had the slightly better pocket pair, and the board ran out {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs} to secure the Frenchwoman's double.
