Level 33 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Fabiano Kovalski
Fabiano Kovalski

Kayhan Mokri opened the pot with a raise to 500,000 from the hijack with {j-Spades}{4-Spades}. Jimmy Guerrero in the cutoff shoved all in for 7,400,000 with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} as action folded to small blind Fabiano Kovalski, who looked down at {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} before calling for his last 6,530,000. Mokri got out of the way.

Both players ran over to their respective rails to await the board on the massive coin flip. The {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop was safe for Guerrero, as was the {5-Clubs} turn which left Kovalski down to potentially his last card of the tournament.

The Brazilian spiked the {k-Hearts} on the river to double up to more than 14,000,000, leaving Guerrero with less than 1,000,000.

On the last hand before the break, Jimmy Guerrero limped in from the small blind with {j-Spades}{10-Spades}, then called when big blind Patrik Jaros raised to 600,000 with {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Spades} and Guerrero checked. Jaros bet 700,000 and Guerrero called with his flush draw and two overcards.

Both players checked the {3-Hearts} turn as the {10-Diamonds} fell on the river, improving Guerrero to a pair. He checked and Jaros quickly checked behind before flinging his cards away in frustration upon seeing he had been rivered.

Pinto Whiffs Everything

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Patrik Jaros raised to 400,000 from early position with {k-Spades}{q-Spades} and was called by Michael Pinto with {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} on the button and Kayhan Mokri holding {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} in the big blind.
