Mateos Goes Runner-Runner to Double Up

Matthias Eibinger raised to 7,000 on the button and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 25,000 from the small blind. Eibinger called and the dealer spread the flop of {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. Mateos led out with a bet of 13,500 and Eibinger called to see the {10-Spades} on the turn.

Mateos sized up another bet of 58,000 and Eibinger still called as the {8-Spades} completed the board. Mateos pushed all in for 146,500 and Eibinger went into the tank for over a minute before making the call. Mateos flipped over {9-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush and was awarded the double-up.

Staahle Dodges the World to Eliminate Heath

Ben Heath and Kent Staahle were heads-up in the blinds on a board reading {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Heath checked to Staahle who bet 21,000 and Heath check-raised to 75,000. Staahle announced all in and Heath called off his stack of around 180,000.

Staahle made two pair on the turn but Heath had plenty of outs with a pair, straight draw, and flush draw. However, the {10-Spades} on the river improved Staahle to a full house and Heath was forced to re-enter.

Laszlo Bujtas folded his big blind, Schindler responded with a four-bet shove for 202,500. Vogelsang folded but Badziakouski snap-called.

Sam Greenwood raised to 6,000 from the hijack and was called by Marius Gierse on the button and Matthias Eibinger in the big blind. The flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {a-Clubs} on the turn.

Eibinger checked again and Greenwood tossed in a bet of 7,000. Gierse folded but Eibinger stuck around to see the {8-Clubs} on the river. Eibinger checked and Greenwood made a bet of 18,000. Eibinger went into the tank for a minute and eventually called. Greenwood tabled {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for just five-high while Eibinger showed {j-Spades}{3-Spades} for jacks and eights.

Watson Doubles Through Imsirovic

Mike Watson raised to 5,500 from under the gun and Ali Imsirovic three-bet to 16,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Watson called.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, Watson checked, Imsirovic put out a 25,000-value chip and announced a bet for less than that. Watson raised it up to 31,000 for Imsirovic to make the call.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Watson continued with a bet of 25,000 for Imsirovic to make the call again.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board and Watson took some time. With 5 seconds left on the shot clock, he collected all his chips and put them over the line for the all-in for 48,500. Imsirovic sat up straight, stared at the board and Watson, used two time bank cards, and then flicked in two chips for the call.

Watson tabled the {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for the flopped two pair to double up as Imsirovic held the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for just top pair.

Vaskaboinikau Shoves on Grafton

Sam Grafton and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau were heads-up in a three-bet pot with the board reading {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Grafton led out with a bet of 23,000 from the small blind and Vaskaboinikau called.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} which put four diamonds on the board and paired the board. Grafton threw in a bet of 38,000 only to have Vaskaboinikau shove all in for 232,500. Grafton asked for a count and used a time bank but decided to throw his cards away.
