Watson Doubles Through Imsirovic

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Mike Watson
Mike Watson

Mike Watson raised to 5,500 from under the gun and Ali Imsirovic three-bet to 16,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Watson called.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, Watson checked, Imsirovic put out a 25,000-value chip and announced a bet for less than that. Watson raised it up to 31,000 for Imsirovic to make the call.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Watson continued with a bet of 25,000 for Imsirovic to make the call again.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board and Watson took some time. With 5 seconds left on the shot clock, he collected all his chips and put them over the line for the all-in for 48,500. Imsirovic sat up straight, stared at the board and Watson, used two time bank cards, and then flicked in two chips for the call.

Watson tabled the {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for the flopped two pair to double up as Imsirovic held the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} for just top pair.

Staahle Dodges the World to Eliminate Heath

Ben Heath and Kent Staahle were heads-up in the blinds on a board reading {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Heath checked to Staahle who bet 21,000 and Heath check-raised to 75,000. Staahle announced all in and Heath called off his stack of around 180,000.

Grafton Misses the Freeroll

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Sam Grafton opened to 6,000 from under the gun and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau three-bet to 26,000 in the cutoff. Daniel Dvoress four-bet shoved all in for 188,000 in the big blind and Grafton re-shoved over the top. Vaskaboinikau sighed as he leaned back in his chair and ultimately decided to lay down {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} face up.

Daniel Dvoress: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Sam Grafton: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Both players held the same hand but on the flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}, Grafton picked up the flush draw. The {7-Spades} and {10-Diamonds} runout bricked out and both players took their chips back.

"I call," Vaskaboinakau said in hindsight.

"If you called, I would have been very excited on the flop," Grafton emphasized. "Very excited!"
