Douair Gets Three-bet Through

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Abedel Douair made it 3,000 in middle position. Pedro Lopez then raised to 8,000 in late position, before Douair reraised the Brazilian to 25,000.

After tanking for around a minute, Lopez decided to let it go, giving Douair the hand and getting him back above the average stack.

Felix Schneiders raised it in the cutoff, with only Lurii Senchylo opting to call in the small blind.

Salter Wins Round Two Versus Reard

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Jack Salter
Jack Salter

With players heads up on a board reading J54 and around 10,000 already in the middle, Jack Salter check-called a 6,000 bet from Alexandre Reard.

The turn came the 3. Salter checked, Reard bet 17,000 and Salter put in a check-raise to 41,000. Reard made the call.

The river came the J. After about one minute of thought, Salter pushed forward a stack of green 5,000 chips, enough to put Reard all in for his remaining stack of approximately 90,000.

Reard, who had forced a fold from Salter in another big pot during the previous level, was clearly faced with a difficult decision. After just over two minutes, he folded A2 face up and Salter took down a sizable pot from the French pro.

"It was a good fold," Salter told his opponent as he dragged the pot.

Keating Eliminated By Carreras

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Alex Keating was in a heads-up pot against Bernat Carreras and faced a decision for his tournament life on a board of 248J.

With around 75,000 already in the pot, Carreras bet a stack of 5,000 chips to put Keating all in for his final 60,000 or so.

"My ace-high might be good. It would be crazy," Keating said. "You're about to have a lot of chips after this hand."

Someone at the table called the clock and Keating eventually called as his 30 seconds wound down. "Don't report this," Keating told PokerNews.

Bernat Carreras: 99

Carreras was ahead with a pair of nines but Keating had overcard outs before the 8 bricked off on the river to mark the American's elimination.

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Vicenzo Lupoli limped from the small blind, but faced a raise from Alexis Jacquemot to 5,500. Lupoli called and it went to a flop.

It came out Q5K, and was checked to Jacquemot, who made it 12,000 with 19,000 left behind. Lupoli reraised it to 45,000, putting Jacquemot all in if he were to call. The Frenchman reluctantly laid his hand down, tabling JJ.
