Piaggesi was dominated and couldn't improve on the 4♣A♦3♠K♥8♣ runout and was eliminated by the 2023 PSPC champion.
Vasileios Panagiotou opened to 22,000 from middle position and was called by Martin Sejer in the small blind.
Sejer check-called a 25,000 bet from Panagiotou on the 7♣A♥6♣ flop and a 60,000 bet from Panagiotou on the J♥ turn.
The 2♣ completed the board and Sejer shoved for his last 64,000. Panagiotou put in a single chip to denote a call and Sejer turned over J♣8♣ for a rivered flush. Panagiotou couldn't beat it and mucked — awarding Sejer the double up.
With about 50,000 in the middle and the board reading A♣4♥5♠3♠, Brandon Leetz checked and Giuseppe Tarsia bet 16,000. Adrien Di Grande made the call on the button and Leetz also called.
The river came the 7♣ and action checked around to Di Grande, who bet 45,000. Leetz got out of the way and Tarsia made the call.
Di Grande showed down Q♥6♥ for a rivered straight and Tarsia's hand hit the muck while Di Grande dragged in a healthy pot.
Tarsia would later say that he had pocket aces for top set.
After a brief pause due to technical issues the tournament has resumed.
The tournament will pause for 5-10 minutes to work through a technical issue.
Petar Kalev opened from middle position and called as Jean Dubouchet three-bet jammed from the big blind.

Dubouchet's jacks were still ahead after the flop of 9♣2♥2♠ but the 3♠ turn gave Kalev a flush draw. The 4♠ on the river then gave him the flush and Dubouchet groaned as he hit the rail.
Nikita Kalinin opened to 21,000 from under the gun and Vadim Tsatskin moved all in for approximately 220,000. Kalinin made the call with a covering stack to put Tsatskin at risk.

Tsatskin was in bad shape with the dominated pocket pair and failed to improve on the 4♥5♥5♦J♣2♦ runout, resulting in his elimination while Kalinin took down a sizable pot.
