Action was heads up with over 1,200,000 in the middle and 7♠2♦Q♠9♣ on the board when Mauricio Salazar Sanchez shoved his last 1,005,000. Ionut Dragomir called quickly from the next seat over and the cards were turned up.
Sanchez had Q♦Q♣ to be way ahead of the K♦K♠ of Dragomir. The river was 4♦ and Sanchez scored a big double.
Fabian Bartuschk opened to 160,000 from middle position and Petros Karadimos three-bet to 500,000. Bartuschk asked Karadimos for a count of his current stack before moving all in for 2,205,000. Bartuschk considered his options for about 90 seconds before sticking in the call to put Bartuschk at risk.
Fabian Bartuschk: A♠A♦
Petros Karadimos: 10♠10♥
Bartuschk was well ahead with the best possible starting hand until the flop came 10♣9♠6♦ with a ten in the window, eliciting a sigh from Bartuschk who was suddenly drawing to two outs. Those outs never came on the Q♣2♣ turn and river and Bartuschk's run came to an end while Karadimos catapuled up the chip counts.
Francois Vincenti answered an early position raise from Robert Sanchez Callol by moving all in from middle position. The action folded back around to Callol, who made the call.
Francois Vincenti: J♠J♣
Robert Sanchez Callol: Q♣Q♦
Vincenti was unable to find any help on the 4♣2♣4♦ flop and was left drawing dead after Callol found a full house on the Q♥ turn. The 6♦ completed the board, sending Vincenti to the rail.
Action folded around to Istvan Varga in the hijack who took a moment to count out his stack and consider his options.
"It looks like you're all in," Parker Talbot joked.
"I'm all in," Varga declared immediately after, pushing forward his stack of 755,000. Talbot called in the small blind to put Varga at risk.
Istvan Varga: A♦5♣
Parker Talbot: 8♣8♦
Both players caught a piece of the 8♠A♠3♥ flop, but Talbot's middle set left Varga drawing close to dead with top pair. The rest of the board ran out J♦A♣, giving Talbot a full house to best Varga's trip aces to take down a sizable pot.
Theodoros Ampelikiotis was all in for 2,165,000 and James Akenhead was the one to put him at risk. The rest of the table was out of the way and action was heads up with Ampelikiotis at risk.
Theodoros Ampelikiotis: A♥10♠
James Akenhead: Q♥Q♣
The board ran out 7♦5♥3♠9♦A♠ and Ampelikiotis picked up a pair of aces on the river to secure the double.
