2023 PokerStars EPT Barcelona
In a blind versus blind situation, Julio Chia and Oleg Vasylchenko put all their chips in the middle, with Chia being at risk with only 5,000 chips.
Julio Chia: A♥J♦
Oleg Vasylchenko: A♣6♣
The board 8♣10♣4♠K♠7♠ didn't change anything, and Chia secured a double up.
Arnel Popovic had already shoved for his last 29,500 on the button and was called by Deniz Akdeniz from the hijack to put Popovic at risk.
Arnel Popovic: 6♠6♥
Deniz Akdeniz: J♣J♠
Popovic was in rough shape against Akdeniz's overpair, and the 9♠5♣7♠J♥4♥ runout kept Akdeniz best — eliminating Popvic from contention.
Mircea Flutur opened to 2,200 in early position before Christian Diaz three-bet to 6,000 from the cutoff. Quan Zhou cold-called on the button and Flutur also called.
Flutur and Diaz checked on the flop of 2♣6♠5♣ and Zhou bet 9,000. Flutur called and Diaz folded. Flutur checked again on the 10♣ river and Zhou checked back.
The 4♥ river completed the board and Flutur led out for 16,500. Zhou took some time and then called, only to muck as Flutur showed 3♦3♠ for a rivered straight.

Haci Bayram limped under the gun and Daniil Kiselev raised to 3,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back around to Bayram and he shoved for 31,000 total. Kiselev called to put Bayram at risk and hands were revealed.
Haci Bayram: J♦J♠
Daniil Kiselev: A♣9♣
The board ran out 3♥10♥9♠7♥7♠ — keeping Bayram's jacks best for the double-up.
Kiselev was left with just 1,200 following the hand.
Level: 8
Blinds: 500/1,000
Ante: 1,000
Vitor Da Silva opened to 2,000 in early position and the hijack called before Pakinai Lisawad three-bet to 6,500 from the cutoff.
Da Silva responded with a four-bet to 23,500 and the hijack folded before Lisawad five-bet jammed for over 40,000. Da Silva called with a bigger stack.
Pakinai Lisawad: A♦K♣
Vitor Da Silva: A♠4♠
Lisawad had his opponent dominated until the flop landed 10♦4♥8♠ to give Da Silva a big lead and the runout of 3♠A♥ confirmed Lisawad's elimination.
Jack Corrigan opened to 1,800 from the hijack and was called by Yucheng Liu on the button and Weiran Pu in the big blind.
Pu checked to Corrigan on the K♦3♠5♦ flop and he continued for 1,600. Liu then raised to 5,200, which got a fold from Pu and a call from Corrigan.
Both players checked on the 6♥ turn and Corrigan checked a final time on the 5♠ river. Liu put 10,000 into the middle and Corrigan went deep into the tank before eventually shrugging and sticking in a call.
Liu turned over K♠Q♠ for kings and fives and Corrigan mucked — sending the pot Liu's way.
Under the gun, Yasuhiro Waki shoved for his last 9,000 chips. Joao Sydenstricker in the cutoff was the only one to make the call.
Yasuhiro Waki: 4♣3♣
Joao Sydenstricker: A♠6♠
Waki could still hope to double up after the flop 5♣2♣2♦ that gave him a straight flush draw, but the J♠ on the turn and the K♥ on the river didn't bring the help he needed, and he was eliminated.
