Yildiz Doubles Through Derwiche

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

From the cutoff, Imad Derwiche opened to 1,100. Then in the small blind, Emrah Yildiz raised all in for 9,900 chips. Derwiche snap-called.

Emrah Yildiz: A10
Imad Derwiche: AK

Yildiz was on the edge of elimination on the flop 462. But the 10 landed on the turn to give him a pair. So after the river 3, he doubled up.

Lopez Admits to Getting There on the River

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 394, Emmanuel Lopez bet 2,500 from the hijack and Sebastien Zerah called in middle position.

The turn came the 6 and Lopez continued for another 3,500. Zerah again called to see the K river, where Lopez moved all in for 18,500.

Zerah tanked for nearly a minute before folding. He told Lopez after the hand he had two queens, and Lopez admitted he had ace-king for the rivered pair.

Three Barrels For Katidis

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Under the gun, Fotios Katidis opened to 1,000. He was called only once, by David Shmuel on the button.

On the flop 5JK, Katidis fired a first barrel of 1,000, then a second one of 2,800 on the turn 6, and even a third one on the river 6, where he bet 15,000 chips, more than Shmuel's stack.

Shmuel called the first bet and the second, but went into the tank on the river. He eventually folded, and Katadis scooped the pot.

Sboev and Kapnopoulos Have a Raising War

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Ioannis Kapnopoulos raised to 900 in early position before Evgenii Sboev three-bet to 3,500 out of the small blind.

Kapnopoulos took a few minutes before coming back with a four-bet to 7,900. Sboev then tanked for several minutes until he five-bet to 16,500.

It was then back on Kapnopoulos, who again spent several minutes in the tank before mucking as Sboev tapped the felt and returned his cards face down to win a pot that took nearly 10 minutes without seeing a flop.

Mitrione Denied a Double on the River

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Daniil Kiselev raised to 900 under the gun before Jack Salter three-bet to 2,700 next to act. The action folded to Michael Mitrione on the button who moved all in for 7,200 and Kiselev got out of the way. Salter, though, called to put him at risk.

Michael Mitrione: AQ
Jack Salter: A5

Mitrione had Salter dominated as the flop came A99. Kiselev then revealed he folded two fives, meaning Salter was only drawing to a chop.

The J turn kept Mitrione in the lead, but the K on the river gave both players aces and nines with a king-kicker to chop the pot.

"Miracle," Kiselev said.

"He could've hit running fives," tablemate Matthew Wantman added.

"No. I folded two fives," Kiselev replied.

Naydenov Doubles with Queens

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With about 10,000 in the middle, the flop read J43, and Hanseok Ko check-called a bet of 2,800 from his only opponent in the hand, Simeon Naydenov.

When the 9 turn hit the felt, Ko checked to Naydenov once more who fired a bet of 5,600. Ko check-raised all-in and Naydenov snap-called his stack of 16,200.

Simeon Naydenov: QQ
Hanseok Ko: A9

Ko had turned the second-highest pair on the board but ran into the overpair of Naydenov. The 6 river changed nothing as Naydenov collected his double-up.
