Heads-up on a flop of K♠9♠9♣, Erdem Akmert bet 15,000 from middle position and Lucien Cohen called under the gun.

The turn came the 5♦ and Cohen checked over to Akmert, who announced all in and pushed a tower of chips into the middle. Cohen, with around 80,000 remaining, tanked for about a minute before the EPT champion folded.

Macori was ahead with his queens and pulled further in front on the 8♦3♠Q♦ flop, hitting top set. Baltateanu was already drawing dead by the 6♣ turn and flung his arms in the air in frustration before paying off Macori on the A♣ river.

El Sayed then moved all in for 81,000, sending Pinchuk deep into the tank. He thought about the decision for several minutes before mucking as El Sayed showed A♣9♠ before taking in the pot.

Alexandr Dusco bet 32,000 from the button on a board of 6♦K♣A♦5♠ and Dietrich Fast called under the gun.

The river came the 8♠ and Dusco slid forward another bet of 150,000. Fast tanked for a few minutes before tossing in a chip to signify a call. Dusco then showed A♠K♦ for top two pair and Fast mucked.

At the same time at another table, a big pot was developing between Vladas Tamasauskas and Vadzim Godzdanker. Tamasauskas had bet 45,000 from the cutoff on a board of 6♥8♥5♣10♣ and Godzdanker called in the big blind.

The river was the 7♦ and Tamasauskas bet 130,000. Godzdanker, like Fast, spent several minutes in the tank but decided to fold.

Estrada Catches a Miracle to Double, Take Out Smirnov

The board ran out 6♠A♦ and Smirnov was sent to the rail, while Estrada doubled up off Voznesensky.

"Well, you asked for them," a tablemate told a giddy Estrada after the hand.
