Azor Pulls Ahead on the Turn

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Three-handed on a flop of 898, Sari Haddad bet 3,000 from early position and was called by Ran Azor in the cutoff, as well as Ahmed Abdellatif under the gun.

The turn came the 10 and action checked to Azor who slammed in 17,600. Abdellatif quickly folded, but Haddad tanked for a minute before calling with Q9.

Azor, though, showed J10 for two pair and held on through the 2 river to double up.

At the same table, Aurelie Reard is cruising her way along on Day 1c with a stack of around 160,000.

Good Call For Bulgaru

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Marius Bulgaru was in middle position when he opened to 2,200. Elias Moukawen called from the button, and the big blind called too.

On Q102, Moukawen took the lead and bet 3,000. He was only called by Bulgaru, who called a second barrel of 5,000 on the turn 4.

Bulgaru took a few seconds to think when Moukawen bet 6,000 on the river Q. But the Romanian player eventually called with K10, enough to win as Moukawen only had A2.

Jeschka Nearly Triples; Akgul Shoves on Hayiannis

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Mikhail Gashkov was down to his last 2,500 and moved all in from the cutoff. Hannes Jeschka also put in his last 5,000 and Laurynas Levinskas called in the big blind.

Mikhail Gashkov: A9
Hannes Jeschka: 99
Laurynas Levinskas: AQ

The board ran out 7JJK5 and Jeschka dodged both of his opponents' overcards to take the whole pot, sending Gashkov to the rail while doubling up off Levinskas.

At the same time at another table, Savvas Hayiannis and Huseyin Akgul had built a big pot of around 30,000 heading to the turn with the board showing 10994.

Hayiannis then bet 12,000 from middle position before Akgul moved all in for 27,500 in the cutoff. Hayiannis tanked for a minute but decided to slid his cards into the muck.

Toth's Turn to Shove on Pehlivan

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A few hands after Omur Pehlivan shoved out Aliaksandr Shylko from a pot, he got involved in another with Richard Toth that had the opposite result.

Toth bet 6,000 from early position on a flop of 329 and Pehlivan called in the big blind. The turn came the 7 and Pehlivan then led out for 9,500.

Toth asked for a look at Pehlivan's remaining stack and tanked for more than a minute before moving all in. "Ah, tens or jacks," Pehlivan muttered to himself as he agonized over the decision.

He eventually flashed the 9 and folded, while Toth returned his cards face down to the dealer and dragged in the pot.

After an open in early position, Ibrahim El Mallah three-bet to 7,400 in the hijack. But in the big blind, Ozgun Surer decided to go all in for 8,900 chips. "We have an all in", shouted a player at the table at this point. "We don't care", answered someone else at another table.

The initial raiser folded, but El Mallah called.

Sivritepe Runs Kings Into Aces As Rosner Doubles

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Bekir Sivritepe opened to 2,000 in the cutoff and the small blind called before Floyd Rosner three-bet to 5,000 in the big blind. Sivritepe four-bet jammed as the small blind quickly folded and Rosner called off with a stack of 22,500.

Floyd Rosner: AA
Bekir Sivritepe: KK

There were groans at the table as the ultimate cooler presented itself and the runout of 106Q4J improved Rosner to a flush to earn him the double.

Kehagias' Full House No Good Against Lamprea

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 88A, Juan Sebastian Lamprea bet 2,500 from early position before Stefanos Kehagias raised to 7,500 in the hijack.

Lamprea called to the K turn and led out for another 7,000. Kehagias just called this time and the river came the A.

Lamprea then moved all in and Kehagias snap-called for his last 20,000, showing A10 for the rivered full house.

But it wasn't enough, as Lamprea then turned over 88 for flopped quads and sent a shocked Kehagias to the rail.

Shylko Gets Away From Pehlivan's Monster

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

With nearly 15,000 already in the pot, Aliaksandr Shylko and Omur Pehlivan went to the 2QA flop where Shylko bet 3,500 from early position.

Pehlivan then moved all in for 11,000 on the button and sent Shylko into the tank. Shylko picked up his cards and held them in front of him as he considered the decision.

"I'll show," Pehlivan assured him.

"I'll show too," Shylko said, exposing the A and tossing it into the muck. Pehlivan obliged and showed AQ for top two pair as he took the pot.
