Trattou Doubles Guerrini and Busts the Next Hand

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Mario Trattou opened to 30,000 from under the gun and called when Michele Guerrini jammed for 175,000 from the cutoff.

Michele Guerrini: 88
Mario Trattou: A4

Guerrini enjoyed a double up thanks to the Q626K runout.

The following hand, Marc Foggin opened to 35,000 from early position. Alessandro Minasi and Trattou called from the blinds.

Foggin continued for 80,000 on the 952 flop, and only Trattou called.

Trattou checked on the 6 turn, and Foggin jammed as the big stack. Trattou had 255,000 behind, and after some thinking time, he committed his stack.

Mario Trattou: 53
Marc Foggin: 1010

Trattou needed a five, four or three to stay alive, but the 9 river saw his chips head over to his compatriot.

Refos Hits a Set on Pruneau

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Alexandre Pruneau moved all in for his last 100,000 from the button and Raoul Refos called in the small blind.

Alexandre Pruneau: A5
Raoul Refos: 66

The 36J flop gave Refos a set and left Pruneau drawing thin heading to the K turn, where he was then drawing dead. The inconsequential 3 fell on the river and Refos improved to a full house to send Pruneau to the rail.

Tannoury Calls Off In Massive Pot

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Ricardo Tannoury
Ricardo Tannoury

With around 300,000 already in the middle on a board of 87210, Gilles Simon bet 190,000 from the cutoff and Ricardo Tannoury called in the big blind.

The river came the 2 and Tannoury checked over to Simon, who announced he was all in.

Tannoury had around 800,000 remaining and used four time banks as he tanked for more than two minutes before flicking in a chip to signify a call. Simon then turned over JJ, while Tannoury could only show 109 for a pair of tens.

Simon knocked over Casimir Seire's gin and tonic as he celebrated winning the massive pot to send Tannoury to the rail. "I know it was an exciting pot, but come on. I'm all wet now," Seire said as he ordered another soda water.

"We have a new chip leader now," tablemate Mekan Yusupov said. Simon also knocked out Maduka Meragal at this table earlier in the day as he moved up to around 3,000,000.

Pavlov Runs Out of Steam

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Nicolas Chouity raised to 30,000 in middle position before Ilya Pavlov stuck in his last 50,000 from the hijack. Andrei Vavilonskii called on the button.

Chouity then asked Vavilonskii how much he had behind before reraising to 175,000. Vavilonskii got out of the way.

Ilya Pavlov: 99
Nicolas Chouity: AA

Pavlov had run into Chouity's aces but picked up a straight draw on the Q102J board. The river, though, was an unhelpful 5 and Pavlov was sent to the rail.

Marius Irimia open-jammed for 110,000 from under the gun and action folded to Marc Foggin in the big blind, who called.

Marius Irimia: A2
Marc Foggin: A2

Both players had the same hand, but the Q96 made Foggin the favorite as he picked up a flush draw. The K turn was a brick, but the 5 river completed Foggin's flush to send out Irimia.
