Massive Double as Pardo Catches Julien's Bluff

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a heads-up pot on a board of 92J86, Nicolas Julien checked from the small blind and Jorge Pardo bet 18,000. Julien check-jammed to send Pardo deep into the tank as he considered calling off for more than 100,000.

Table mate Parker Talbot called the clock and Pardo called as the seconds wound down. Julien showed a bluff with 44 for an underpair and Pardo turned over the winner with J9 for two pair before burying his head in his hands after making the correct call to take down the massive pot.

Talbot Chips Up

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Parker Talbot has only been at the table for a few minutes but has already made his presence known.

"I'm going to have 200,000 in 30 minutes," said Talbot jokingly to the table before being dealt his cards.

Talbot opened the action to 3,000 from under the gun and only Romain Delcroix made the call on the button.

The flop fanned out AQ2 and both players checked their options to the 5 turn. Talbot bet out 7,000 and Delcroix came along to the 4 river.

Talbot decided on the same bet amount, 7,000, and without much thought, Delcroix tossed in a chip for the call. Talbot rolled over A9 for top pair and Delcroix tabled A7 for the same pair but not as strong of a kicker. Talbot collected the pot as he took another drink from his bottle of wine.
