Lofberg Eliminated in Multiway Pot

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Klas Lofberg went all in from under the gun for his last 1,000 chips. Nariman Yaghmai reraised to 1,700. Igor Picone called in the small blind and Agatino Spitaleri called in the big blind.

With Lofberg already all in, the other three players continued for a potential sidepot, but instead opted to check it down. The board ran out {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and players checked on all three streets to get to showdown.

Lofberg had {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a pocket pair. Spitaleri showed {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a rivered pair of sevens. Lofberg was eliminated from the tournament.

Ahuja Wins Preflop

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There were no cards face-up on the table, but there were 22,000 chips in front of Tibor Nagygyorgy in middle position. Ankit Ahuja was on the button, having already put around 7,500 into the pot. Ahuja had all of his time extension cards on the table and went all in, in what can be assumed to be a five-bet jam. Nagygyorgy in his turn threw all his time extensions to the dealer as well, thinking about his decision for a good while.

Eventually, Nagygyorgy let his hand go, surrendering the very sizable preflop pot to Ahuja. Nagygyorgy then asked his neighbor Parker Talbot ''what the book said,'' to which Talbot responded ''**** if I know!'' after which the table burst out in laughter.

Grafton Gets Three Streets of Value With Queens

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Diogo Machado made a hijack raise to 1,600 and Omar Lakhdari called in the small blind. Sam Grafton took a quick glance across at his opponent before reraising to 7,000. Machado and Lakhdari both called.

The flop came {6-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Lakhdari checked and Grafton made a continuation bet of 5,500. Machado called and Lakhdari folded, meaning two players would see the turn.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and Grafton bet out for 8,000, which Machado called. The final card came the {6-Diamonds} and Grafton led again, this time putting in a large bet of 13,600, which represented most of his opponent's stack. Machado did make the call, leaving himself just a few thousand behind.

Grafton flipped over {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} for an overpair to the board. Machado mucked his hand and the chips were pushed over to Grafton, who has made good progress since entering the event and is now sitting on over 80,000 chips.

Watson Three-Bets River

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Michael Watson on the button and Igor D'Ursel in the hijack were on a completed board of {5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. D'Ursel had checked to Watson, who put out a bet of 4,600 into a pot of roughly 6,000.

D'Ursel then check-raised to 22,000 chips, a big portion of his stack. Watson let his shot clock go down to the last seconds before he put in a big stack of T-5,000 chips as a three-bet, enough to put his opponent all in.

D'Ursel folded instantly, granting the victory to Watson, who stacked his newly won chips onto his already impressive stack.
