Julien Martini opened to 4,500 from under the gun with Rui Ferreira and Soo Jo Kim calling from the button and big blind, respectively.

The {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop checked through to the {a-Hearts} turn. Action checked to Martini and bet 14,000. Ferreira folded but Kim raised to 38,000.

Martini looked pained as he started counting the chips in his short stack, but he returned his cards to the dealer in the end.

Coelho Shows Homma the Nuts

Action was caught on the river with the {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} completed board on show.

There was around 41,000 in the pot and Sho Homma checked in the big blind. Diogo Coelho then moved all in as the big stack.

Homma, with 60,000 behind, went into the tank and used up a couple of time bank cards before calling for his tournament life.

Coelho tabled his {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for the jack-high straight. Homma's card were never exposed as the dealer mucked his hand while Homma left the table.

Suarez Takes It Preflop With Four Bet

Romain Lewis raised to 4,000 from the cutoff and Martin Jacobson three-bet to 9,000. Anton Suarez four-bet squeezed to 40,000 from the small blind. Original raiser Lewis folded, folded by Jacobson. Suarez took it down preflop without a fight.

Bedell Hits Flush Against Miscikowski's Set

Andrew Hulme raised from middle position, Tom-Aksel Bedell called and David Miscikowski called on the button.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, which is about as draw heavy as a board can get. Both players checked it back. The turn came the {5-Diamonds} to put four diamonds on the board. Hulme checked, Bedell bet 5,000 and Miscikowski called in position.

The river was the {a-Hearts}. Bedell led for 10,000 and Miscikowski called. Miscikowski showed {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a set of fives and Bedell showed {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for the jack high flush.

Andre Moreira opened to 4,000 from the hijack before Belarmino De Souza made it 13,000 from the button. Moreira responded by moving all in and was quickly called.
