Diogo Coelho: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Stausholm Flops a Set to Double Through Holz

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Martin Stausholm was all in for 27,000 from the button against the bigger-stacked Fedor Holz in the cutoff.

Martin Stausholm: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Fedor Holz: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The flop of {j-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} hit both players but gave Stausholm a near lock on the hand with a set and the runout of {9-Hearts}{q-Spades} didn't change anything to earn him a double.

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Parker Talbot
Parker Talbot

Parker Talbot shoved from the button for just a few big blinds. "Take your time," he joked to Gianluca Speranza, who was sitting in the big blind with an obvious pot odds call to make.

Speranza made the call and the cards were flipped.

Parker Talbot: {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Gianluca Speranza: {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts} to give Speranza a pair of threes on the flop. Talbot didn't find any help on the turn or river and the PokerStars Ambassador was eliminated from the tournament.
