Wheeler Doubles as Ambraisse Saves Lindahl's Life

Level 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Franklin Nurmohamed opened to 8,000 from under the gun and Markus Lindahl flat-called in the hijack before Jason Wheeler three-bet jammed a stack of 46,000 from the cutoff. Idris Ambraisse then re-shoved in the big blind for around 250,000 to bring folds from Nurmohamed and Lindahl.

Jason Wheeler: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Idris Ambraisse: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Wheeler was in great shape to more than double with queens and the board ran out {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{6-Spades} to keep him alive as Lindahl revealed he had pocket sixes and would have called the shove if Ambraisse hadn't moved in.

"I'm here to save your life!" laughed Ambraisse.

All ins are coming thick and fast around the room as short stacked players look to double.

Following a middle position raise, Valeriu Pelinschii shoved all in for 61,000 and Jack Hardcastle isolated for around 100,000. Pelinschii showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and Hardcastle showed {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. With no flush draws on board, players chopped up the pot.

A couple of hands later on the same table, Guillaume Latini shoved for 48,000 and Merijn van Rooij called.

Guillaume Latini: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Merijn van Rooij: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Latini took it down with a pair of kings for the double up.

Last Action on Breaking Table

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Steeve Sultan
Steeve Sultan

Sonny Franco raised to 8,000 from under the gun and Steeve Sultan called from the next seat over before Eric Geraume raised to 23,000. After a quick fold from Franco, Sultan went into the tank for a minute or two before he called.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Geraume put out a bet of 16,000 after a check from Sultan, which was enough to let Sultan lay his hand down.

After the action, the floor swept in to break the table as the bust-outs have been going rapidly so far on Day 2.
