Sturm Leaves Moene Short at the End of the Night

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Leon Sturm was all in for 25,900 and Jelle Moene was the one to put him at risk. The cards were already turned over and the dealer was ready to go.

Leon Sturm: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Jelle Moene: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} and the aces held to secure the double for Sturm. Meanwhile, Moene was left with just 2,100, but he got it in on the next hand with {q-}{q-} and a few callers for a small pot to stay alive.

Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Roland Rokita raised to 2,500 and Kenny Hallaert then three-bet to 6,500. What followed was a four-bet shove by Rokita for around 25,000 and Hallaert instantly called to put the Austrian at risk.

Roland Rokita: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
Kenny Hallaert: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop propelled Rokita into the lead which he kept with the {4-Diamonds} turn. However, the {k-Spades} river restored the preflop order and Hallaert added to his growing tower.

Najchaus Quiets Kassouf

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Alexane Najchaus
Alexane Najchaus

Action was heads up with over 20,000 in the middle and {3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Spades} on the board when William Kassouf bet 12,500. Alexane Najchause went into the tank to consider her options, and Kassouf's voice was not far behind.

Kassouf went into his line of questioning. The usual "do-you-have" and a string of accusations relating to which card improved her hand. The clock was finally called, but it was a mere formality when Najchaus put out the chips to call.

"Nice hand, you win," Kassouf said, not yet turning over his cards.

He finally showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Najchaus turned over {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} to take the pot with a pair of nines.

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The cards of Ouri Cohen were already in the muck as he paid off the double to table neighbour Jamil Wakil. In a duel of shorter stacks, Wakil's {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} made top set on the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} runout and that was good enough for the double.

Segebrecht With One Foot Out the Door

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Claas Segebrecht jammed for his last 12 blinds with the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} and fellow short stack Julian Gala Diaz got his shorter stack in as well with the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop and {2-Hearts} turn left Segebrecht on the ropes but he earned a chop with the {5-Diamonds} river.
