Kim Triples in Three-Way Runout

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Brian Kim
Brian Kim

Brian Kim and Alex Kulev were all in, Kim with the least, and Diego Zeiter was there to put both players at risk with the biggest stack. The cards were on their backs and the dealer was ready to go.

Brian Kim: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Alex Kulev: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Diego Zeiter: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Kim flopped a pair of jacks to beat both players and triple his stack of 32,000. Zeiter counted out 46,200 to pay Kulev's side pot.

Yildiz Doubles Through Glaser

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Emrah Yildiz
Emrah Yildiz

Emrah Yildiz raised to 2,500 and Thibault Reverdito called from the next seat over before Elias Fisz came along from the button. Benny Glaser tossed in the chips to call from the big blind and action was four-handed.

The flop was {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Yildiz continued for 33,000 after Glaser checked. Reverdito and Fisz folded before Glaser slid out a stack of blue chips to cover Yildiz. Yildiz called quickly for his last 29,300 and the cards were turned up.

Emrah Yildiz: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Benny Glaser: {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The board finished up {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Yildiz secured the double with his flopped set of nines.

Assorted Counts in the Field

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Berinde Busts Fhima and Ahuja

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Bogdan Berinde
Bogdan Berinde

Jonathan Fhima raised it up to 2,500 in the hijack and was called by Ankit Ahuja in the cutoff. Bogdan Berinde then three-bet to 13,500 in the small blind for both of his opponents to call. Berinde bet the {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop for 14,000 and Fhima almost immediately pushed all in.

Ahuja counted his stack for a few seconds and then also pushed them forward as well, cutting out the 39,300 he had at his disposal. Berinde asked for the all-in amounts with Fhima being at risk for 59,600 and then inquired about something else with the dealer.

"If they are all-in, can I talk myself? I am serious ..." Berinde asked and insisted to call a floor to verify it. Since he wasn't influencing any action, that option was indeed confirmed only for Berinde to then say no word at all for some two minutes until making the call.

Ankit Ahuja: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Jonathan Fhima: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Bogdan Berinde: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The {6-Diamonds} turn and {9-Clubs} river failed to improve either of the shorter stacks and Berinde vaulted near the top of the leaderboard. After talking through the hand when all was done, Berinde added he wasn't usually tanking that much but held the king of hearts in his hand, being worried more about Ahuja and not the instant shove by Fhima.

Micallef Doubles Through Cardoso

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Diogo Cardoso raised to 2,500 from under the gun and Dylan Herklots called from the button. Matthew Micallef shoved over 16,000 from the small blind and Cardoso called before Herklots went into the tank. After a few moments of thought, Herklots got away from it and action was heads up with Micallef at risk.

Matthew Micallef: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Diogo Cardoso: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Micallef held on for the double with pocket nines.

Ogita Prevails in Three-Way All-In

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The cards were on their backs on the {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs} turn and Daisuke Ogita was the second-biggest stack while Daniel Dragoman had the least amount of chips out in front. Both were looked up by David Uvaydov to set up the following showdown.

Daniel Dragoman: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Daisuke Ogita: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
David Uvaydov: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {8-Spades} on the river ensured a near triple up for Ogita. Uvaydov was left short and doubled the next hand with {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} versus {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} thanks to a {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} runout.
