Delaney Takes a Healthy One From Petrushevskii

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Brian Delaney
Brian Delaney

With a sizeable pot of about 250,000 already built by the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, Sergei Petrushevskii checked in the hijack to Brian Delaney on the button.

Delaney bet 95,000 and got check-raised to 200,000 by Petrushevskii. Delaney made the call.

The turn brought the {3-Diamonds} and Petrushevskii checked again. Dleaney now bet 200,000 which sent his Russian opponent into the tank.

After using a pair of time banks, Petrushevskii chose to fold, sending the pot to his American opponent.

Estegassy's Stok's are Going Up

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Wooseok Kim raised to 40,000 and Gaelle Baumann called. Florent Estegassy then pushed all-in for 470,000. Sven Stok asked for an exact count and also inquired about the stack size of the initial raiser before moving all-in, forcing out Kim and Baumann.

Florent Estegassy: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Sven Stok: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Stok almost got there. In table chat, it emerged that one of the other two players had also folded ace-king as well.

Spekman Snaps Off Russo

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Denzel Spekman
Denzel Spekman

Aurelien Russo raised to 40,000 under the gun and was three-bet to 125,000 by Denzel Spekman to his immediate left.

On the {6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop, Russo check-called a bet of 115,000 from Spekman to see the {2-Diamonds} on the turn.

Both players now checked to the {j-Spades} river and after a third check by Russo, Spekman bet 195,000.

Russo paused briefly, then cut out a check-raise to 475,000 which Spekman instantly called.

Russo showed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, but Spekman turned over {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, picking off Russo's river bluff with top two pair.

Joshi Eliminated by Heath

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ben Heath
Ben Heath

Ben Heath raised it up to 40,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Sachin Joshi in the cutoff, who moved forward his last 215,000. Sergei Petrushevskii on the button asked for an exact count and reluctantly folded, as did both players in the blinds, while Heath snap-called.

Sachin Joshi: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Ben Heath: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades} runout provided no help to Joshi and Heath continued his rise on the leaderboard.

Conan and Petrushevskii Chip Up

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Mathieu Di Meglio had a raise to 165,000 out in front and Arthur Conan then reraised to 410,000 out of the big blind. It was back on Di Meglio, who sent the cards into the muck.

Sergei Petrushevskii then limped the small blind and Guy Taylor raised to 70,000 from the big blind. The limp-shove by the Russian for 575,000 followed and Taylor asked for a count before folding.

No Hero-Call by Wilson Boosts Held's Stack

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Konstantin Held raised to 50,000 on the button and he called a three-bet to 225,000 by Daniel Wilson in the small blind.

Wilson continued for 150,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, which led them to the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. Wilson now checked and Held moved forward a bet worth 2,000,000 with the newly introduced black T-100,000 chips. The near instant fold by Wilson followed and Held increased his lead further.

Lodge Outs Roiter

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Harry Lodge
Harry Lodge

Picking action up on the turn with the board reading {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} Klemens Roiter checked in early position to Harry Lodge who bet 55,000 from late position.

Roiter then check-raised all-in for about 200,000 more and Lodge called.

Klemens Roiter: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Harry Lodge: {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Roiter would need a final heart to fall on the river to make a better flush than Lodge's queen-high version, however, the {q-Spades} fell instead, ending Roiter's day in 38th place.
