Granjon's Aces Bust Zidonis

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Marius Zidonis raised to 2,100 from middle position. Jean Granjon three-bet to 5,000 from the big blind and Zidonis called.

Both players checked the 553 flop to see the 10 come on the turn. Granjon bet around 9,000, which was enough to put Zidonis all-in. Zidonis snap-called and the cards were revealed.

Marius Zidonis: K10 All in
Jean Granjon: AA

Zidonis couldn't find any help on the river as the Q fell. Granjon's pocket aces would be enough to send Zidonis home.

Ioannou Doubles Through Zicca

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

With a bloated pot already in the middle on a flop of J10A, Damiano Zicca already had a bet in front of him from the big blind and Georgios Ioannou called all in for his last 11,700 from the cutoff.

Georgios Ioannou: KQAll in
Damiano Zicca: A3

Ioannou had flopped Broadway and all but secured his double up barring a runner-runner from Zicca.

The 7 turn left Zicca drawing dead and the 10 river made Ioannou's double-up official.

Rahal Heads to the Rail

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Roman Volkov opened to 2,100 from under the gun before Antoine Rahal three-bet to 5,000 on his direct left. Action folded back to Volkov, who put Rahal all-in for his stack of around 20,000. Rahal called for his tournament life and the cards were turned over.

Antoine Rahal: AxQxAll in
Roman Volkov: AK

Volkov's Big Slick paired up on the K106 flop while Rahal had outs to Broadway. The 5 turn was a brick and the K river improved Volkov to trip kings to secure the bust out.

Garcia Drills a Set to Double Through Lopez

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Francisco Martin Romo opened from middle position and was called by Eduard Garcia in the small blind. Carlos Lopez then shoved for a bit under 30,000 from the big blind, which got a fold from Martin Romo and a call from Garcia for his last 22,100 total.

Eduard Garcia: 88All in
Carlos Lopez: 99

Lopez held the lead with his higher pair, but the 853 flop vaulted Garcia into the lead with a set of eights.

The 6Q runout changed nothing and Garcia doubled through Lopez, who was left with just over 5,000 following the clash.

Paparo Flops a Set and Gets the Double

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Juan Rodriguez opened 1,800 in early position and Ivan Ferrario three-bet to 5,400 in the cutoff. Domenico Paparo was on the button and made the call, as did Rodriguez.

When the AQ4 flop hit the felt, Rodriguez check-folded to a bet of 9,200 from Ferrario but Paparo matched the bet with a call.

The 3 fell on the turn, and Ferrario slowed down with a check before facing a bet of 11,500. He quickly called.

The dealer dropped the 5 on the river, and Ferrario checked once more as Paparo jammed for his last 12,700. After staring at the board for a few moments, he tossed some chips across the line.

Paparo rolled QQ, for a flopped set of queens, and Ferrario tabled AK as the dealer pushed the pot the other way.

Borja Gonzalez: Q10All in
Jason Rocha: 75

Gonzalez held the best of it with his dominating draw, and the 93 runout kept Gonzalez best with his queen-high for the double up.
