On the 8♠A♦8♦ flop, it checked to Sanz who continued for 12,000, which only Khorchidian called.

Khorchidian shoved on the 2♦ turn for 34,000, and Sanz reluctantly made the call.

Andreas Berggren opened to 7,000 from the cutoff and Stefan Leenen shoved for a bit under 200,000 from the button, covering all remaining players in the hand. Samatar Gelle called off for a bit less than 50,000 from the small blind and action folded back to Berggren who immediately put his stack of 52,000 in the middle.

Gelle seemed poised to crack the best and second-best starting hands after making a set on the J♥9♣5♥ flop. He remained ahead after improving to a full house on the 5♣ turn but the A♣ river gave Berggren top full house and he scored nearly a full triple up while Gelle was sent to the rail in brutal fashion.
