Vinicenka folds to Hertel's Pressure

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Stanislovas Vinicenka opened to 450,000 from early position and was called by Dennis Hertel in the big blind.

Hertel check-called a 300,000 bet from Vinicenka on the 294 flop and checked again after the 10 fell on the turn.

Vinicenka barreled for 600,000 and Hertel responded by shoving for a bit under three million total. Vinicenka quickly laid his hand down and Hertel collected the pot.

Pieruzzini Sends Out Zabrodotskyi

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Yurii Zabrodotskyi was all in on the button for 4,325,000 against Dario Pieruzzini in the big blind and both hands were tabled.

Yurii Zabrodotskyi: J8 All in
Dario Pieruzzini: 99

The AK9 flop gave Pieruzzini a set of nines, but Zabrodotskyi still had outs as he picked up a flush draw. The 2 turn and the 2 river improved Pieruzzini to a full house, sending Zabrodotskyi to the payout desk.

Marasco Doubles Through Lin

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Erik Marasco moved 700,000 of his 750,000 stack into the middle from under the gun and Ren Lin called in the hijack.

On the AQ3 flop, Marasco checked to Lin who bet the last 50,000. Marasco stalled for a moment as the tournament was on a payjump and then called all in.

"Three on the turn," announced Marasco.

Erik Marasco: K3 All in
Ren Lin: A7

Marasco was behind the top pair of Lin, but as predicted a miracle 3 appeared on the turn followed by the 5 as Marasco collected the full double.

Verhagen Raises it Away on the Turn

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Dario Pieruzzini opened 400,000 under the gun, and both Hugo Gotuzzo in the cutoff and Johannes Verhagen on the button made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of 966, and Pieruzzini continued for 400,000. Gotuzzo got out of the way, but Verhagen stuck around with a call.

When the 4 hit the turn, Pieruzzini continued with aggression, dropping 775,000 across the line. Verhagen responded with a raise of 2,050,000 and that was enough to earn the pot.

Nadal Catches Massive Bluff to Soar into the Lead

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Santiago Nadal
Santiago Nadal

Santiago Nadal and Luis Rayon Perez were heads-up on a flop of 256 with a bloated pot already in the middle.

Perez checked to Nadal, who bet 375,000. Perez then check-raised to 1,100,000 and Nadal called.

Perez kept up the aggression with a 1,600,000 barrel on the 2 turn and Nadal again called.

The 8 completed the board and Perez announced he was all in for approximately four million. Nadal snap-called and Perez could only show KQ for a stone bluff.

Nadal turned over 55 for a full house and collected the massive pot.

"You know you can't win the tournament today," Parker Talbot commented. "It's impossible."

Marasco Eliminated in Brutal Fashion

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Shortly after he found a fortunate double, Erik Marasco found himself on the rail.

Gabriel Nedelcu opened to 400,000 from under the gun and Marasco jammed for his remaining 1,400,000 from the hijack. Nedelcu was displeased with the decision but he eventually landed on call.

Erik Marasco: AK All in
Gabriel Nedelcu: KQ

Marasco was in good shape to double and it stayed that way on the J75 flop. The A on the turn gave Nedelcu four outs instead of three. In dramatic fashion, the dealer peeled the 10 on the river to give Nedelcu Broadway as Marasco was eliminated.

Zamani Jams the River

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

The turn read 9438 and Martin Zamani, in the big blind, fired a bet of 650,000 into the pot of 1,200,000 before Francesco Macri raised to 1,500,000 from the hijack. Zamani looked Macri in the eye and asked, "Are you trying to bluff me?" then made the call.

The 7 completed the board and Zamani jammed for a little over 5,000,000. Macri tanked for about 40 seconds before mucking his hand.

Zamani showed the 7 and asked if it was good, before showing his 8 for a second pair.

Zamani Wins Race to Send Alvarez Out

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Martin Zamani
Martin Zamani

Ismael Alvarez opened to 400,000 on the button and Martin Zamani shoved from the small blind for enough to put Alvarez all in for a bit over seven million. Action folded back to Alvarez, who went deep into the tank.

"Good fold, good fold," Zamani said.

Alvarez then called and a showdown was held.

Ismael Alvarez: 88All in
Martin Zamani: AQ

Alvarez held slightly the best of it with his eights, but the K2JAQ runout left Zamani best with aces-up to eliminate Alvarez late in Day 3.
