Tan Busts Another Player

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Xiaohui Tan opened under the gun to 2,300. Igor Pihela shoved for his last 12,000 out of the small blind and Tan snap-called.

Igor Pihela: A6 All in
Xiaohui Tan: AJ

The runout of 210K310 didn't improve either player and Tan's ace-jack high was enough to send Pihela out the door.

Delgado Takes From Bojovic

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With roughly 14,000 in the middle on a flop of 106K, Luka Bojovic bet 3,500 from under the gun into five opponents. Next to act in the seat next to Bojovic was Miguel Delgado, who raised to 8,500. After the other players folded, Bojovic put in the call.

The turn came the 7 and Bojovic check-called a bet of 10,500 from Delgado.

When the A appeared on the river both players checked. Delgado showed 66 for a set of sixes, which prompted a nod and a thumbs up from Bojovic, indicating that Delgado's set was the winner.

Garcia Gets Punished for Making the Right Call

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Fabien Garcia
Fabien Garcia

With 20,000 chips already in the middle of the table on a board of 379A, Fabien Garcia had bet 6,000 and Sondre Stormyr shoved. Garcia had around 11,000 behind which he put into the middle after a lot of time thinking.

Fabien Garcia: J9 All in
Sondre Stormyr: 88

Garcia had made the right call and just needed to fade one of the last two eights in the deck in order to double up. Unfortunately for the French player, a nasty 8 hit the river which eliminated him from the tournament as Stormyr improved to a set.

Both Players Overlook Flush as Obili Wins with Aces

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After Zoltan Farkas bet 3,600 on the 9KQ flop, Raviteja Obili was the only caller with three players involved in the hand.

Both players checked the Q turn.

When the 3 river arrived, Obili checked and Farkas bet 15,000. Obili called, and although Farkas had two pair with 97 (nines and queens), Obili revealed AA for two pair—aces and queens—securing the pot.
