Van Der Swaluw Takes From Schiano, Schiano Busts Shortly After

Stefano Schiano opened from the cutoff to 1,000. Alexander Van Der Swaluw called on the button and Edvard Sivuk defended the big blind.

Sivuk checked the 10♣8♦4♥ flop to Schiano, who bet 1,800. Van Der Swaluw tanked for a moment before making it 4,800. Sivuk snap-folded and in his haste revealed the K♥7♦. He apologised to the table as he did not mean to expose his hand as he mucked. Schiano called.

Schiano checked the 8♣ before Van Der Swaluw bet 5,500. Schiano took a moment before folding.

Schiano busted shortly after the hand and couldn't spin up his short stack.

Gottlieb continued betting on the 8♦ turn, putting in 3,500 as Mokrani once more called to see the 4♦ river. Gottlieb then bet 13,000.

Mokrani snap-folded this time and Gottlieb took the pot.

The flop of K♥Q♣8♥ was checked through to the 6♥ turn. Hollak fired 5,500, and Sterner quickly folded.

Eight of Sterner's last ten live tournament cashes have all come in EPT events, with the last four coming at the 2023 edition of EPT Prague where he cashed four different tournaments on consecutive days, which included a final table appearance.

Okamoto began to pack up, but the K♥ came to her rescue on the turn to give her a better two pair.

The river Q♠ kept her ahead to give her a much-needed double up.
