Two Italians and a Moldovan Walk into a Three-Bet Pot...

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Tudor Zapsa opened to 1,200 in early position and got called by Massimo Mosele on the button before Stefano Schiano three-bet to 5,200 from the big blind. Both opponents called and a healthy pot was already building.

The flop came 844 and Schiano continued for 6,100. The bet shed Zapsa, but Mosele stuck around to see the 10 turn.

Schiano moved all in for 15,000 and after some thought, Mosele folded to send the pot to his Italian countryman.

Chiforescu Claims Multi-Way Pot

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Adrian Chiforescu opened from early position to 1,500 and was called by Jason Wheeler in the hijack, Vladimir Erceg in the cutoff, Tanner Lefferts on the button, and Daniel Veloson in the big blind.

Velson checked the AQK flop to Chiforescu, who bet 5,000. Wheeler folded as did Erceg. Lefferts called and Veloson folded.

Chiforescu bet 10,000 on the 4 turn. Lefferts took a moment before folding. Chiforescu tabled the J. Lefferts said "Is that the card you wanted to show? It doesn't make a point."

Chiforescu simply replied, "I know," as he scooped the pot.

Alemany Left Short-Stacked

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There were 6,600 chips in the pot on a flop of J92 between Marle Spragg, Edgar Ishida, and Jon Alemany. None of the three seemed too interested in the pot as it was checked around on the flop and the 8 turn.

When the 2 hit the river, Alemany bet 2,500, Spragg snap-folded, Ishida raised, and Alemany quickly folded.

Despite that minor loss, Spragg is sitting healthy with a stack of almost 50,000 as the dinner break looms closer.

With about 18,000 already in the pot on a 877 flop, Konstantyn Holskyi checked his small blind to Tom Vogelsang in early position. He bet 4,000 which was called by Ming Yeung Yiu on the button, and then Holskyi called as well.

The turn 3 saw another Holskyi check, followed by a bet of 7,500 from Vogelsang. Yiu called again, as did Holskyi, leading the trio to the 2 river in the sizeable pot.

After Holskyi checked again, Vogelsang did as well. Yiu, however, did not, and bet a beefy 38,000. Both his opponents folded and Yiu took the pot.

Lex Veldhuis
Lex Veldhuis

With around 10,000 in the pot on a flop of 642, Lex Velduis bet 5,500 from the button and David McConachie called in the cutoff.

The turn was the 7 and Veldhuis bet 25,000, enough to put McConachie all in. McConachie then went deep into the tank as he pondered the decision for the rest of his stack, taking off his sunglasses to stare at the board.

McConachie repeatedly apologized to the rest of the table as the minutes ticked off the clock. "Take 10 minutes, then we go eat," a tablemate said as the clock approached the dinner break. McConachie eventually called for 20,600 and turned over 87 for a pair of sevens, while Veldhuis had A5 for a straight draw.

The river was the 4 and McConachie held on to double up.
