Guitart Approaching 200,000

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Following an open to 2,500 by Fiodor Martino in middle position, Vilius Augutis three-bet up to 7,400 from his immediate left. The raising still wasn't done though as Adria Guitart four-bet to 15,700 from the cutoff.

Martino folded, but Augutis called to see the Q22 flop. Augutis then checked and faced a bet of 8,500 from Guitart.

Augutis thought briefly, but then folded to send the sizeable pot to Guitart who is building one of the bigger stacks in the room.

Shakhabiddin Muradov raised to 2,500 from under the gun, Maria Ho called, and both the small and big blinds came along.

On the 8 river, Muradov had an anguished look on his face as he held his head in his hands, eventually firing out a bet of 20,000. Ho moved all in for 32,000 and Muradov got the count before making the call.

Ho showed 99 for a turned full house and Muradov reluctantly tabled 66 for two pair, sixes with the jacks on board. Ho won the pot and doubled up her stack.

Karakousis Doubles Through Astra

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A bit over 8,000 was in the pot on a flop of J43 when Christian Sare checked in the big blind to Joao Astra who bet 3,200 from middle position.

Georgios Karakousis was next to act on the button and he raised to 20,700, leaving himself about 3,500 behind.

Sare quickly folded but Astra went into the tank for a bit. Eventually, he moved all in covering Karakousis, who called off the rest to put himself at risk.

Georgios Karakousis: QJAll in
Joao Astra: J9

Karakousis was ahead with the better kicker to go with the jacks, and after the board completed 2K, he had earned a double-up through his Brazillian counterpart.

"Spicy," tablemate Arne Coulier said once the cards were revealed. The flop came Q103, while the A turn improved Serrano to top set and gave Manfredini outs to a straight. The river was the 9 and Manfredini was sent to the rail.

"Cooler," Serrano joked.

"I guess he was tired. At least he got a sweat. I was rooting for the sweat," Coulier added.

Kuzmin Spikes the River in a Massive Three-Way All In

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Yevhenii Kuzmin
Yevhenii Kuzmin

Yevhenii Kuzmin bet 4,500 from middle position on a flop of 965 and Justin Saliba called in the small blind. Youness Ait Hssain then raised to 17,000 in the big blind, Kuzmin moved all in for 84,000, and Saliba also shoved for 70,000. Hssain snap-called to put both players at risk and create a pot with nearly 250,000 in the middle.

"This is a big one," a tablemate said as the three players revealed their cards.

Justin Saliba: 66 All in
Yevhenii Kuzmin: AK All in
Youness Ait Hssain: 87

Kuzmin had the nut flush draw, Saliba showed down a set, but they were both trailing Hssain's flopped straight as the turn came the K. The river was the 4 and Kuzmin completed his flush to scoop the massive pot, doubling up off Hssain while sending Saliba to the rail.
