Shuangyi Ye was second to act and opened to 200. Luke Cain called from the cutoff before Adria Colomina three-bet to 1,000 from the button. Ye and Cain called.

Colomina continued for 1,300 on the AK9 flop and again was called in both spots.

The 9 turn checked through to the 4 river and Ye led out for 2,600. Cain quickly folded ahead of Colomina flicking in a calling chip.

Ye tabled Q9 for trip nines to take the pot.

Barulia Takes From Tokic

David McConachie limped in from the hijack for 200. Naum Barulia called on the button before Zeljko Tokic made it 500 from the small blind. Both players called.

Tokic checked the J107 flop, as did McConachie. Barulia bet 1,000. McConachie folded and Tokic called. Tokic then check-called a 5,500 bet on the 3 turn before leading for the same amount on the A river. Barulia called.

"Ace" announced Tokic, showing A6 for top pair. Barulia showed 1010 for a flopped set, which won him the point.

The European Poker Tour is celebrating its 20th Anniversary, and John Duthie, who founded the EPT, is currently sitting in the EPT Barcelona field and appears to be off to a good start.

Duthie opened to 300 from the cutoff and was called by Jesus Cortes from the button. Pablo Jiminez called from the small blind and the trio went to the K52 flop. The action checked to Cortes, who bet 500. Jiminez and Duthie called.

Jiminez and Duthie once again passed the action over to Cortes following the 4 turn. He sized up to 2,000, folding out Jiminez while Duthie stuck around.

On the Q river, Duthie check-called a bet of 5,300 and Cortes was caught speeding with his 69. Duthie tabled KJ for top pair and took in the pot.
