Ullereng Makes a Stand With King-High

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

When the action folded to Ivan Stankov on the button, he looked over at the stacks of the players in the blinds before shoving with the covering stack. The small folded but Mats Ullereng decided to call for his last 22,000.

Mats Ullereng: K2 All in
Ivan Stankov: Q9

Ullereng was ahead with king-high and stayed ahead on the 6762A runout, which improved him to two pair, sixes and deuces, keeping him in the tournament.

Raoul Kanme

Raoul Kanme entered the final level of the day as the chip leader and is continuing to build his stack as the end of Day 2 approaches.

In a recent pot versus Manuel Goncalves, Kanme called a preflop raise from Goncalves to see a flop of 664.

Goncalves checked to Kanme who bet 7,000 from the hijack and then called to see the 7 turn.

The players both checked to the 10 river and Goncalves bet 12,000. This bet was met with a raise from Kanme to 55,000.

Goncalves thought briefly but then folded to send another pot to the chip leader.

Baranov Coolers Cruz For a Double

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

More than 100,000 was already in the pot as Sergii Baranov and Anthony Cruz went to the turn on a board of 93AA. Baranov then moved all in for 129,500 in the hijack and Cruz snap-called in the small blind.

Baranov turned over AK for trips and Cruz let out a deep sigh as he turned over AQ. The river was the 4 and Baranov's king-kicker played to earn him a massive double up.

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Cassandra Yong

Sidi Tourad raised to 6,000 from middle position and Ilya Anatski called from the small blind before Cassandra Yong shoved for 48,500 from the big blind. Tourad folded, but Anatski reluctantly called to put Yong at risk.

Cassandra Yong: QJ All in
Ilya Anatski: A10

Yong was behind and needed to find some help to stay in the tournament. The runout of 77785 left Yong with just queen-high, meaning Anatski's ace-ten high would take down the pot and eliminate Yong from the event.

Lady Gaga Doesn't Come For Lin as Madanzhiev Doubles

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ren Lin had a raise of 45,000 in front of him from the small blind before Stoyan Madanzhiev moved all in for 163,000 on the button.

"Tens, jacks, 50-50," Lin said as he tanked for several minutes. "Ace-king, maybe. Aces, no way," he added.

"No Gamble, No Future," Lin eventually said as he slammed down his sticker and called.

Stoyan Madanzhiev: AK All in
Ren Lin: AQ

"Lady Gaga always come," Lin told Madanzhiev after finding out he was dominated. The 102610 board left open the possibility of a chop, but Madanzhiev held on through the 7 river to earn the double up.

"I was like this," Madanzhiev said after the hand, holding his hand in front of his chest.

"Gamble too much," Lin added as he was left short-stacked.

Sanvicens Puts Derwiche on the Brink

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A pot of a bit over 60,000 was in the middle with a completed board of 975109 in front of Imad Derwiche in the small blind and Jonathan Elfa Sanvicens in the big blind.

Derwiche bet 20,000, leaving himself about that much behind, which would need to go in if he was to continue after Sanvicens moved all in.

Derwiche was pained by the situation but elected to fold and save his last seven big blinds for the rest of the final level of the day while Sanvicens moved toward the top of the chip counts.
