There were around 70,000 chips in the pot in a board of 10633 when Nolan Madene checked, and Simon Wiciak bet 55,000. After some deliberation, Madene called.

A 6 on the river double-paired the board and Madene checked once again. Wiciak didn't need to think for too long and elected to check back, then saw the bad news as Madene tabled 53 for a full house. The reigning champion still has a very healthy stack of around 475,000, which is almost 100 big blinds.

Sergii Baranov raised to 11,000 under the gun. Fabian Niederreiter called in early position before Yunkyu Song squeezed in a three-bet to 30,000 in middle position.

The action folded back to Baranov, who jammed all in for 220,000. Niederreiter quickly folded, after which Song called with the covering stack.

The action then slowed down as both players checked to showdown on the 8 turn and 9 river. Rantala flipped 109 for two pair, and Karabincik mucked.

The 97A was checked-raised by Moene to 23,000 responding to Benger's 9,000 continuation bet. Benger was ahead after flopping a set of nines and called Moene's raise.

The Q was turned and Moene opted to check. Benger bet 25,000 and Moene folded, despite improving his hand.

Niazi Cracks Schrijvers' Kings to Double

Rania Nasreddine raised to 10,000 in early position before Ahmad Niazi moved all in for 130,000 in the hijack. Dennis Schrijvers reshoved for 300,000 on the button and Nasreddine tossed ace-ten into the muck.

Ditaranto Saved by the River

Giuseppe Ditaranto was all in for 70,000 from under the gun and action was on Griffin Benger in an middle position. Benger used a single 30-second time bank before moving all in for 151,000. Ondrej Goetz also moved all in from the cutoff for 372,000, putting both earlier position players at risk.
