Kanme Forces Spallanzani to Toss In Last Chip

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Raoul Kanme
Raoul Kanme

Raoul Kanme raised to 13,000 in early position and Nicola Spallanzani three-bet to 35,000 on the button, leaving just one 1,000 chip behind. Yves Bianchetti called in the big blind and Kanme four-bet to 100,000. Spallanzani tossed in his last chip, while Bianchetti got out of the way.

Nicola Spallanzani: AJ All in
Raoul Kanme: AQ

Kanme had Spallanzani dominated and stayed in the lead through the 1073210 board to send Spallanzani to the rail.

Rouquet Soars in Ranks

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Arriving on a completed board of JQ4A3, Carlos Serrano pushed all his chips in the middle from the small blind, putting his opponent Julien Rouquet in the big blind at risk.

Rouquet was playing a stack of 178,000, which meant that Serrano's bet was almost twice the size of the 95,000 pot.

Rouquet spent several time banks but eventually found the call for his tournament life. Serrano sheepishly turned over 109 for a missed straight draw. Elated, Rouquet tabled QJ as he was awarded the big pot.

Scire Sails to a Double-Up

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

There were around 50,000 chips in the pot on a flop of 74Q when Nicola Scire had bet 18,000. Philip Skarstedt then announced a raise to 48,000, which got both Jorge Artiga-Pacheco and Byron Kaverman to fold. Scire then went all in for 117,000 total, and Skarstedt called.

Nicola Scire: 44 All in
Philip Skarstedt: AJ

Scire had flopped a set of fours but needed to dodge the clubs of Skarstedt. An A on the turn did give Skarstedt a pair of aces but it didn't change anything, and neither did the 5 river.

Fabiano Kovalski
Fabiano Kovalski

Fabiano Kovalski raised to 12,000 in the hijack before Ahmed Karrim three-bet to 36,000 on the button. Kovalski called and they went heads-up to the KQ2 flop.

Karrim continued for 37,000 and Kovalski called. The turn was the 10 and Karrim bet another 115,000. Kovalski used two time banks before calling again as he checked over to Karriim on the 4 river.

Karrim checked back this time and Kovalski turned over A7. Karrim mucked and Kovalski's ace-high earned him the big pot.
