Stephen Song limped in from the small blind with 6♥4♥ and Eero Rantala checked in the big blind with 10♥9♣.
The J♣6♦A♠ flop was bet for 15,000 by Song. Rantala called to the 9♥ turn, which they both checked. Song checked again on the 8♣ river, after which Rantala fired 50,000.
Song quickly mucked his bottom pair and the pot was awarded to Rantala.
Lauri Varonen raised to 35,000 in early position and was called by Jose Barbosa in the hijack.
The duo checked to the river on the Q♥6♠4♦5♥6♥ board before Varonen bet 80,000 which Barbosa called.
Varonen showed J♣J♥ for jacks and sixes to take the pot after Barbosa mucked.
On a completed board of J♠2♠K♥4♣8♣, Javey Timmer had bet 135,000 into a pot of 410,000 in early position.
Jelle Moene in the cutoff was his opponent, and he spent two time banks before finding a call.
Timmer showed A♠Q♣ for ace-high before Moene triumphantly slammed his 5♠5♣ on the table, having called down with just a pair of fives. He raked in the pot and soared above the two-million mark.
Heads-up on a board of 6♠9♥J♣6♦, Sriharsha Doddapaneni bet 75,000 from the button and Ahmed Karrim called under the gun.
The river was the 5♦ and Doddapaneni bet another 175,000. Karrim again called and Doddapaneni showed Q♥10♥ for a missed straight draw. Karrim turned over A♥Q♣ and took down the pot with ace-high.
Thomas Eychenne had committed his last 80,000 to the pot and was put at risk by Boris Kuzmanovic.

Eychenne needed to come from behind but never improved on the A♦2♦9♠6♣Q♦ runout, which meant he was eliminated.
Kian Kiani in the big blind. had pushed all in on for 315,000 on a flop of 5♦J♦10♥ and was called by David Coleman in the cutoff, who only had Kiani covered by 25,000.

Kiani was drawing near-dead against Coleman's two pair. The A♣ turn brought some chop outs, but the 8♥ river sealed his fate.
Kiani remained seated for a few moments, soaking in the final moments of his Main Event run. Eventually, he stood up and said his goodbyes as he left the tournament area.
