Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Gabriel Cunha de Medeiros
Gabriel Cunha de Medeiros

Gabriel Cunha opened from the hijack to 25,000 and Mateusz Wozniak three-bet to 70,000 in the cutoff. Luka Sorainen then four-bet from the small blind to 170,000. Cunha wasn't done yet and made a five-bet to 280,000, which got Wozniak to fold, but Sorainen called.

On the 9J6 flop, both players checked to see the 8 hit the turn. Sorainen bet 215,000, and Cunha called.

A 10 on the river made the board a little scary and Sorainen checked, then Cunha shoved for 354,000. Sorainen gave it some thought but eventually elected to call.

Cunha tabled QQ for a rivered straight, and Sorainen flashed JJ for top set.

Set Chips Up Lin Even More

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Vid Zagar, holding 87, raised to 25,000 in early position. Jianwei Lin called in the small blind with 22 and Bekim Murtezi came along in the big blind with A3.

The J84 flop was checked by all three players. The 2 turn checked to Zagar once more, but this time he bet 31,000. Lin then put in a raise to 85,000 with his set of ducks.

Murtezi quickly mucked before Zagar put in a call. On the 10 river, Lin slid another 100,000 chips in the pot.

Zagar took some time before eventually mucking his cards, and Lin was gracious enough to show his cards to the table.

Goncalves Hits Quads to Double Off Eychenne

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Thomas Eychenne raised to 25,000 in the hijack, Manuel Goncalves moved all in for 105,000 in the cutoff, and Eychenne called.

Manuel Goncalves: 77 All in
Thomas Eychenne: A5

Eychenne found himself in nearly the same situation he was in when he busted Erik Bauer earlier this level, but this time Goncalves hit a set on the 7K9 flop. A round of "oohs" went up from the table when the 9 fell on the turn to give Eychenne a flush draw, but they then realized Goncalves had already improved to a full house and Eychenne was drawing dead.

The river was the 7 and Goncalves hit quads to seal his double up.

The 935 brought a flush draw for Sboev, but he was unable to crack Savenkov's aces on the 10Q runout.
