With about 175,000 already in the middle on a flop of K♣10♣5♦, Yuan Li checked the hijack to Kian Kiani who bet 75,000 from the cutoff.
Li responded with a check-raise all in for 241,000. Kiani frustratedly folded, sending more chips away from his stack.
Firoz Mangroe raised to 25,000 in the hijack holding A♠J♠. Simon Wiciak called on the button with 8♥8♣, after which a flop of 7♦8♦10♣ hit the felt.
Mangroe checked to Wiciak, who bet 35,000. Mangroe called to the K♠ turn, where Wiciak sized up to 125,000. Mangroe folded his straight draw, seeing the defending champion chip up even further.
Heads-up on a flop of 6♣6♠3♣, Vlado Banicevic bet 55,000 from the button and Fabiano Kovalski raised to 175,000 under the gun.
Banicevic called to see the 10♠ turn, where Kovalski moved all in. Banicevic had around 340,000 behind and quickly folded as Kovalski took the pot.
Most of Aleksei Savenkov's chips had gone in preflop when he committed the final 14,000 on a flop of 4♠3♦J♦ against Christian Sare in the big blind.

Savenkov had been behind preflop but flopped best to take a significant lead. The 10♥ turn brought Sare a gutshot, but the 7♠ river remained safe for Savenkov to double up.
Brock Wilson opened to 28,000 from the button and Pablo Beltran three-bet the big blind to 76,000. Wilson called.
A flop of 7♦9♦A♣ saw Beltran make a continuation-bet of 40,000, which Wilson called.
The 10♠ on the turn drew another bet from Beltran, this time to the tune of 115,000. Wilson called again.
Beltran checked the K♣ river and Wilson went into the tank for around two minutes before he bet 245,000, leaving himself just 1,000 behind. Beltran wasted no time in shoving, and Wilson called off his last chip.
Beltran showed A♠7♥ for aces & sevens, and Wilson showed K♦10♦ for a backdoored, smaller two pair, which meant he was eliminated.
Sriharsha Doddapaneni raised to 25,000 under the gun, Oscar Mas three-bet to 80,000 on the button, and Doddapaneni called.
Both players checked to the river on a board of 10♠10♣8♠J♥5♣ when Mas bet 140,000. Doddapaneni then came back with a raise to 520,000.
Mas went deep into the tank, using up a few of his time banks before tossing his cards into the muck. "Show one," he implored Doddapaneni, but Doddapaneni returned his cards face down as he took in the pot.
Jianwei Lin raised to 24,000 in middle position with J♠J♣ before he was three-bet to 84,000 by Gal Bar in the small blind, who had K♥K♦. Lin tossed in three time banks but eventually made the call.
The 9♣A♠8♣ flop saw Bar check to Lin. Lin made a bet of 55,000, causing Bar to quickly throw his kings into the muck as he forfeited the pot.
Ahmad Niazi was all-in from the button with a short stack of around ten big blinds. He was taken up by Lauri Varonen in the big blind, who had the covering stack as players turned their cards.

Alioto had Schwippert crushed, until the board ran out J♣10♦7♦5♥Q♦ to give Schwippert an unlikely straight on the river. He won the pot, cracking Alioto's aces and doubling up his stack.
In a raised pot to a flop of 10♠9♣6♠, Brock Wilson checked his big blind to the raiser, Ivan Zhechev who continued for 30,000 in early position.
Wilson came back with a check-raise to 85,000. Zhechev called and the turn brought the Q♠.
Wilson now checked and Zhechev bet 60,000. Wilson aborted his mission at this point and folded his hand.
Meanwhile, at an adjacent table, Angelo Marrone eliminated Venelin Pashev.
