In a blind versus blind battle, Raoul Kanme got the rest of his 135,000 in the middle against Yuan Li.

Jianwei Lin raised to 20,000 in early position with 8♦8♣. The action folded to Oliver Weis in the big blind, who called with A♦10♥.
The players then checked through the flop of 10♣4♠9♦ before the 6♦ appeared on the turn. Weis fired a bet of 70,000, which was enough to let Lin fold his pair and straight draw.
Yunkyu Song opened to 20,000 from the hijack then Catalin Moraru shoved for 154,000 out of the big blind. Song stood up and put his jacket on, which is normally a good indicator that he wants to get involved in the pot, then called.

The flop of J♣9♠8♠ gave Song a plethora of outs but neither the K♥ turn nor 5♦ river was the card he was looking for, which earned Moraru a double-up in the opening level of the day.
Following a middle position raise to 20,000 by Venelin Pashev, Enrico Camosci three-bet to 100,000 from the small blind.
Pashev used a pair of time banks debating what to do with his roughly 360,000 stack.
Eventually, he moved all in which got a quick fold from Camosci.
Heads-up on the turn with the board showing 6♥8♦4♥2♥, David Coleman bet 30,000 from the big blind before Raoul Kanme raised to 77,000 in middle position. Coleman called and the A♣ fell on the river.
Coleman checked to Kanme who then bet 130,000. Coleman used multiple time banks before calling as Kanme instantly mucked his cards, allowing Coleman to take the pot without a showdown.
Action was on the flop on a board of 7♥6♦9♥ and Jack Kiriakus led out. Aliaksandr Shylko raised to 80,000 from the next seat across, Vladimir Erceg called on the button and Kiriakus folded.
The turn was the 5♦ and Shylko checked. Erceg bet 85,000 and Shylko folded to concede the pot.
Vid Zagar raised to 20,000 in middle position with K♥J♥ and was called by Rania Nasreddine on the button with 6♠5♠. Bekim Murtezi looked down at A♦6♥ in the big blind and also came along.
The action was checked to Nasreddine on the 6♦10♠3♦ flop, after which she bet 30,000. Murtezi called before Zagar folded.
Both players then checked the K♣ turn before the J♠ river completed the board. Murtezi checked again and quickly folded when Nasreddine fired a bet of 65,000.
Matteo Orchide opened to 20,000 from under the gun and Aliaksandr Shylko made a three-bet to 60,000 in the hijack. Once the action got back to Orchide, he slid a stack of chips into the pot and four-bet to 150,000. Shylko counted out his stack, rechecked his cards, then announced that he was all-in for 477,000. Orchide took some time but ultimately decided on a fold, and relinquished the pot to Shylko.
Following a raise to 20,000 by Alexandre Fournier in the cutoff, Beka Iordanishvili moved all in from the big blind for a bit over 250,000. Fournier called.

Iordanishvili was dominated, but the J♣ appeared in the window, giving him hope for a healthy double-up.
That hope quickly faded as it was immediately followed by the Q♣, pairing Fournier.
The board completed J♣Q♣5♦2♠3♦ as no further help came Iordanishvili's way, ending his day less than 20 minutes into play.
Yunkyu Song moved all in for 248,000 from early position and was up against Jan Eric Schwippert in the big blind.

Song had Schwippert dominated with his queens and stayed in the lead through the A♠8♥A♦7♠4♠ board to earn a double up.
At the same time at another table, Marius-Catalin Pertea raised to 25,000 in middle position before Dean Lyall moved all in for 206,000 in the cutoff. Byron Kaverman called in the big blind, while Pertea got out of the way.

Kaverman had woken up with kings and was poised for the knockout as the flop came J♦J♠8♠. The turn, though, was the 10♣ and Lyall spiked a full house. The 3♣ fell on the river and Lyall doubled up, leaving Kaverman on an extreme short stack.
