Jelle Moene raised to 160,000 from the hijack and got a call from Stephen Song in the big blind.
On the K♠2♠5♣ flop, Song checked to Moene who bet 110,000. Song check-raised to 275,000. Moene then moved all in for just over a million and Song called.
Jelle Moene: A♦5♠
Stephen Song: 6♠3♠
The turn was the 7♠ giving Song the winning flush, with the 10♠ completing the board.
Jose Barbosa moved all in for 635,000 from under the gun. Andrew Hulme then min-clicked it from the small blind, which folded out Daniel Myers in the big blind.
Jose Barbosa: Q♣10♣
Andrew Hulme: A♥8♠
Barbosa had live cards, but the A♣7♥7♠ flop was all Hulme, who made two pair. Barbosa needed to go runner-runner and found the Q♥ on the turn to keep his hopes alive. The J♥ river provided no help to the at-risk player, and Hulme sent Barbosa out in 14th place.
After taking his 20,000 to 90,000, Daniel Myers put in his one big blind stack from early position. Harry Lodge called from the small blind and Marius-Catalin Pertea checked his option in the big blind.
Myers appeared very relaxed after the J♠8♣3♠ flop, chatting to Mitch Hynam and Carl Shaw on the rail. The blinds checked, and did the same on the 7♣ turn and 2♠ river.
"The toppest of pairs," said Myers, as he tabled Q♥J♣. Lodge sent his K♦5♦ into the muck and Pertea did the same with his Q♣9♦.
The following hand, Myers wagered his stack of 370,000. The action folded to Andrew Hulme in the big blind, and he called to put the Liverpudlian at risk.
Daniel Myers: A♦8♥
Andrew Hulme: Q♦J♦
Myers was looking to pull off "the greatest comeback in PokerStars history," and it appeared he would be on his way to do that after the K♥5♣2♣ flop and 6♥ turn. However, the Q♠ completed the board and gave Hulme a pair of queens to seal the checkmark and elimination.
After Sriharsha Doddapaneni moved all in for 1,620,000 from the button, Stephen Song called from the small blind.
Sriharsha Doddapaneni: K♦J♥
Stephen Song: A♦K♠
The board came 10♣8♣6♠5♣8♠ and Doddapaneni became the day's latest elimination as the remaining 11 players guaranteed themselves at least a six figure score of €107,450.
After Boris Kuzmanovic made it 240,000 in the cutoff, Yurii Zabrodotskyi called in the big blind.
The flop came J♠10♣6♠ and Zabrodotskyi checked. He faced a bet of 175,000 from Kuzmanovic and then moved all in for 1,300,000. Kuzmanovic called to put him at risk.
Yurii Zabrodotskyi: 10♠7♣
Boris Kuzmanovic: J♣9♠
The turn was the 8♥ and the river the 3♣ as Kuzmanovic's top pair held on to thin the field to ten, while topping the ten-million-chip mark.
Harry Lodge raised to 800,000 from under the gun, leaving himself 200,000 behind the line. David Coleman, in the big blind, thought for some time before putting Lodge all in for the remainder of his chips. Lodge took pause to assess the hand being played on the main feature table before making the call for his tournament life.
Harry Lodge: A♦J♥
David Coleman: K♠J♦
Lodge was in a commanding lead and the 6♠2♥A♠ flop had Coleman drawing to running cards. The Q♣ turn gave Coleman an unlikely gutshot and the 10♦ river completed it. Coleman made Broadway to send Lodge to the rail. The remaining nine players are now on the final table.
Fabiano Kovalski used a time bank before he raised to 800,000, leaving 450,000 behind.
Rania Nasreddine moved all in from the hijack for 4,825,000 and Kovalski called off the rest to put himself at risk.
Fabiano Kovalski: K♠5♦
Rania Nasreddine: J♦J♣
The board came 8♦4♣3♦7♥Q♥ and as Nasreddine's jacks held, Kovalski's run at a second official EPT Barcelona final table in three years came to an end one spot short.
David Coleman, in early position, raised to 500,000 and Alexandre Fournier defended his big blind.
On the 8♦6♦5♠ flop, Fournier check-jammed for 4,050,000 over Coleman's bet of 700,000. The American snap-called as the bigger stack and the cards were tabled.
Alexandre Fournier: A♠8♠
David Coleman: K♣K♦
Fournier had flopped top pair but Coleman had a monster with his pocket kings. The K♠ turn gave Coleman a set but Fournier picked up a flush draw. The latter became the final casualty of Day 6 after the 8♣ river confirmed his exit.
