Nemeth Sends Two to the Rail

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

Jon Kyte raised to 100,000 from the cutoff with roughly 90,000 behind. Andras Nemeth shoved from the button for 520,000 and Santhosh Suvarna called for his last 320,000 out of the small blind. Kyte agonized over the decision for around a minute before making the call.

Jon Kyte: 22 All in
Santhosh Suvarna: 99 All in
Andras Nemeth: AQ

If Nemeth could find an ace or a queen, he would send two players to the rail. The board ran out AK77Q to give Nemeth the best hand with two pair, aces and queens, and Kyte and Survarna were out.

Soika had just doubled up, but couldn't hold onto his chips for long as the QQ269 runout meant he was eliminated, and Madanzhiev closed in on a million chips.

Ihar Soika: JJ All in

Middleton needed to find a seven to eliminate Soika, but never managed to do so as the 101034A runout kept the pocket jacks in the lead.

Sun Just Calls With the Nuts

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Yunsheng Sun raised to 25,000 on the button and Juan Carlos Vecino defended from the big blind.

Vecino check-called a bet of 25,000 from Sun on the 5J8 flop.

Leonard Turns Broadway, Gets Max Value

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Patrick Leonard had opened from early position and called a three-bet from Sebastian Malec, who was in the blinds. They went to a flop of 8AK where Malec had made a small continuation-bet, which Leonard called.

The turn brought a J which went check-check to the 8 river, where Malec checked, and Leonard bet 164,000, leaving himself just a few thousand behind. Malec used some extra time and mulled it over for a while, before he eventually clicked the call button.

Leonard then confidently tabled Q10 for Broadway, and Malec mucked his cards.

Mehdi Chaoui: QQ All in
Dmitrii Astratov: AA

Chaoui looked to be heading to the exit, but spiked a queen on the river with the 7KJ6Q runout to earn himself a double up, which left Astratov with just 10,000 in his stack.

Jon Kyte: K3 All in
Vladislav Dubanov: J8

Kyte had made the correct call and would double up if the board ran out favorably for him.

The dealer put out a board of K5A26to give Kyte the winner with a pair of kings on the flop, and he stayed alive in the tournament.
