Boris Tabiyev, who was under the gun, checked the action to Navid Samavati, in the hijack. Samavati moved all in for Tabiyev's effective stack of 21,500. Tabiyev thought for several minutes, pained by his decision.
The clock was eventually called on Tabiyev, resulting in a frustrated fold.

Marius Kudzmanas opened to 2,000 from early position and Marte Sandberg three-bet to 6,000 from the cutoff. Muhtar Taysi four-bet shoved with the covering stack out of the big blind, which both Kudzmanas and Sandberg called.

A brutal cooler which was favorable for Sanderbg. The board ran out clean and low for Sandberg's aces as it came 7♦9♠4♣10♣5♠. Sandberg virtually tripled up, while Kudzmanas was out of the tournament.

Abdulgamid Gadzhiev limped in from under the gun, but Guillermo Gordo, sitting in the hijack, raised it to 5,000. David Karsenty on the button called, and Gadzhiev followed suit.
The flop came 8♣9♣9♥, and both Gadzhiev and Gordo checked it over to Karsenty, who bet 5,500. Gadzhiev responded by shoving, and Gordo quickly called, leaving the decision with Karsenty. Clearly unhappy with the situation, Karsenty took his time before ultimately folding.
At showdown, Gadzhiev revealed Q♦10♦, and Gordo showed Q♥10♥. With both players holding the same hand, it was destined to be a split pot unless something wild happened. The K♦ on the turn confirmed it, and the chips were divided, leaving Karsenty shaking his head in frustration.

With over 25,000 chips in the pot on a flop of Q♠5♣Q♣, Sal Al Fakih checked it over to Sergio Benso, who fired 4,300. Al Fakih then raised to 10,000, and Benso called.
Both quickly checked the 10♣ turn to the 6♦ river, where Al Fakih shoved for around 21,000. Benso went into the tank and considered for quite some time, and even had the calling chips in his hand. Ultimately, he decided against it and laid it down, which meant Al Fakih took the pot.

Vladimir Lelgant, in the big blind, bet out for a sizable wager of 17,000. Daniel Lakerveld, in the hijack, went deep into the tank before finally flicking in the call.
Lelgant rolled over K♣9♣ for a full house, winning him this pot.

On a board of 4♠9♥4♣10♠ with around 8,000 chips in the middle, Alexandr Khvan had fired 3,000 and Ramzi Karam raised to 12,000. Umberto Ruggeri got out of the way, and Khvan put in the call.
A 10♥ double-paired the board on the river and Khvan led out for 10,000, which got a quick call out of Karam.
Khvan showed 4♥2♠ for a full house, but Karam had a bigger boat with 9♦9♣, and will surely be frustrated at that river card.

Guy Taylor, in the big blind, checked the action to Steven Warburton, on the button. Warburton bet out 9,000 and Taylor check-raised to 22,000. Warburton called.
The 10♦ turn saw Taylor slow down with a check. Warburton bet out 12,500 and Taylor went deep into the tank. Taylor thought for so long the clock was eventually called, prompting him to commit his chips to the middle.
The 9♠ river saw Taylor check again. Warburton moved all in for Taylor's effective stack of 36,000, sending him into the tank. Taylor, again, thought for several minutes resulting in the clock being called for a second time. Taylor finally called off the bet for his tournament life.

When it folded to Jason Wheeler in middle positon, he opened the action to 2,200 with only Patrick Leonard making the call from the button.
The flop of Q♥8♠5♥ got a check from both Wheeler and Leonard. The board-pairing 5♠ fell on the turn and Wheeler led out with a bet of 8,000. Leonard didn't use much time to muck his hand and Wheeler pulled in the pot.
