Oliver Weis 6♠5♠ raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Mikhail Shalamov A♠J♠ called from the small blind.
Shalamov check-called for 425,000 on the A♦K♣3♣ flop and improved to trips on the A♣ turn. The action checked through to the 10♠ river, and Shalamov fired out 425,000. Weis snap-folded, and Shalamov crossed the 10,000,000 mark.
Bobby James limped in from the small blind with J♠10♦ and Oliver Weis raised to 425,000 in the big blind holding J♥J♦. James came back with a three-bet to 975,000.
Weis then four-bet to 1,675,000 and James folded.

PokerStars listened to feedback from female poker players on how to draw women to the game, and now the poker site is responding.
The upcoming PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Las Vegas festival will feature a $330 buy-in Women's Event on Nov. 5. Notably, the event has a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool attached.
Last year's NAPT Women's Event had a $360 price tag and drew 94 entrants for a prize pool of $28,200. That means PokerStars is expecting this year's event to be an even greater success.
The Women's Event will get underway at 12:30 p.m. local time on Nov. 5 and allows for unlimited reentry. The event will feature 30-minute levels and will see players starting with stacks of 30,000.

Life Outside Poker is a new podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the 18th episode, Connor speaks with author and psychologist Maria Konnikova about her family leaving Russia to come to the US, writing her first story in kindergarten, being mentored by Steven Pinker at Harvard, meeting Erik Seidel for the first time and her 2020 bestseller The Biggest Bluff that explored her poker journey.
Konnikova, a PokerStars ambassador, also talked about her research for an upcoming book into cheating in poker and other games, as well as game integrity rule changes implemented at EPT Barcelona that Konnikova said needed to go even further.
"I think what PokerStars has done is amazing. I think you need to go a step further and not have any electronics anywhere on the table," said Konnikova. "Like, I think phones need to be on the floor, in your bag."
"I would actually also ban sunglasses because ... there's so much technology that (that can enable cheating)."

Oliver Weis limped in with K♦J♣ and Georgios Tsouloftas checked back 7♣6♦.
The flop came A♠9♠7♦ and Tsouloftas bet 120,000. Weis called and both players checked the 4♥ turn.
The 7♠ fell on the river to give Tsouloftas trips and he fired out another 650,000. Weis folded this time.
Oliver Weis raised to 250,000 from under the gun and called when Georgios Tsouloftas three-bet to 850,000 from the cutoff.
Weis called bets of 425,000 and 900,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read A♣6♣3♣7♣10♦.
Weis checked for a third time, and went deep into the tank after Tsouloftas sized up to 2,200,000. Seven time banks later, Weis ditched his 9♦9♣, only to be shown A♠2♥ by Tsouloftas who windmilled the bluff onto the table.
On the hand after pulling off his big bluff against Oliver Weis, Georgios Tsouloftas picked up K♠K♦ under the gun and raised to 250,000. Mikhail Shalamov called on the button, as did Weis in the big blind.
The K♥Q♥4♥ flop gave Tsouloftas top set and he bet 250,000. Shalamov quickly folded A♦J♠, while Weis also got rid of 10♦9♦ and Tsouloftas took the pot.
