Guillermo Gordo was all in for 190,000 in the hijack and up against Bryan Paris on the button.
Guillermo Gordo: 4♦4♠
Bryan Paris: 9♥9♣
Gordo was crushed by Paris' bigger pair as the board ran out A♥3♦10♦A♦10♠, counterfeiting both pocket pairs.
Paris' nine-kicker to the two pair on board sent him the pot and sent Gordo to the rail.
David Docherty raised to 24,000 under the gun and was called by Jeremie Zouari in the cutoff and big blind Guillermo Gordo.
The flop came A♣8♣5♥ and action checked to Zouari who bet 26,000. Only Docherty called.
Both players checked the Q♦ turn and the K♥ fell on the river. Docherty then moved all in.
Zouari burned a time bank before calling for his last 115,000. He showed A♦J♠ for a pair of aces, but Docherty had flopped a set with 8♠8♦ to send Zouari to the rail.
Mohamad El Rais was also eliminated by Jozef Cibicek at the same time on another table.
In a three-bet pot before the flop, Nathan Tetart bet 20,000 from the small blind on a 2♣5♦10♦ flop and Pieter De Necker raised to 120,000 in the hijack. Tetart then moved all in for 374,000 and De Necker snap-called.
Nathan Tetart: 10♣10♠
Pieter De Necker: 4♥4♣
Tetart turned over top set and was a virtual lock to take down the massive double up. The turn was the 10♥ and Tetart improved to quads. The Q♦ completed the board and Tetart doubled up.
PokerStars Gold Power Path pass winner Kevinas Korsakas opened to 16,000 under the gun and Adrian Mateos defended his big blind.
On the 8♦10♣3♦ flop, Mateos check-called versus a bet of 11,000 from Korsakas.
The Q♥ rolled off on the turn, and Mateos again check-called versus a bet of 45,000 from Korsakas.
The river came the 8♣ and Mateos checked once more. Korsakas decided he had put enough in the pot and checked back, and it proved to be a good decision as Mateos showed 8♥6♥ for the rivered trip eights, and Korsakas showed A♣J♦ for ace-high.
Andrea Furlanetto moved all in for around 80,000 from the button and Benjamin Pollak put him at risk from the big blind.
Andrea Furlanetto: 4♦4♥
Benjamin Pollak: J♣J♦
Furlanetto was crushed by Pollak's jacks as the flop came K♠2♥9♠. The 2♣ turn was no help, while the J♠ river improved Pollak a full house and sent Furlanetto to the rail.
Natan Chauskin opened to 17,000 under the gun and action folded to Roman Hrabec in the small blind. He reached for chips and produced a three-bet to 70,000.
Action folded back to Chauskin, who confirmed the amount of the raise, before announcing a four-bet to 190,000. Both players had around 800,000 at the start of the hand, Chauskin having slightly more.
Hrbaec went deep into thought, and disposed of two time banks before moving the rest of his chips into the middle. Chauskin made the quick call to create a huge 1,600,000 pot.
Roman Hrabec: A♦K♠
Natan Chauskin: K♦K♣
In a huge cooler, Hrabec's ace-king was in bad shape versus Chauskin's kings, and matters went further downhill for Hrabec after the K♥8♠3♠ flop gave Chauskin top set.
Hrabec threatened a miraculous escape with the A♣ turn, but the Q♦ river did not bring the ace Hrabec required, and he was sent to the rail.
Enis Rouissi opened to 16,000 from late position before Amaury Mamou-Mani three-bet to 51,000 from the big blind. Rouissi jammed as the big stack and Mamou-Mani called off his stack of 290,000.
Amaury Mamou-Mani: 9♠9♦
Enis Rouissi: A♦K♣
"Nine in the window, never lose," said Mamou-Mani after the dealer put out the Q♦9♣3♦ flop.
"Don't say that," said someone at the table, insinuating that Mamou-Mani may have been speaking too soon.
The 4♦ turn gave Rouissi a flush draw, which came in on the 7♦ river to secure the sickening bust out.
Christophe Morbee three-bet to 52,000 in the small blind and Birger Ohl moved all in for 189,000 in early position. Morbee tanked for a minute before calling.
Birger Ohl: A♠K♦
Christophe Morbee: A♣J♦
Ohl finished with two pair on the 9♥Q♦9♠K♥2♠ board and Morbee handed over a double up.
At the same time on another table, Niclas Thumm was all in for 164,000 from the button and up against Konstantyn Holskyi in the big blind.
Niclas Thumm: A♦Q♠
Konstantyn Holskyi: A♥3♥
Thumm had Holskyi dominated as the board ran out 9♠8♠4♠5♥A♣. Both players hit top pair, but Thumm's queen-kicker was enough to earn him a double up.
