In the 876th episode of the PokerNews Podcast, which is sponsored by Global Poker,Chad Holloway is back at Level 9 Studio in Las Vegas alongside regular co-host Mike Holtz. However, Kyna England is up in Reno for the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS), so her Team Hotdog compatriot Lindsey Kludt fills in. The triumvirate discusses football/soccer superstar Neymar making headlines for playing online poker during a child's birthday party, for which he received a good amount of criticism. But was it warranted?
Chad then pays homage to Poker Hall of FamerCrandell Addington, who recently passed away. The Texan was there for the very first World Series of Poker (WSOP), and in this episode you'll get to hear the seven-time Main Event final tablist talk about the old days via an interview he did with PokerNews back in 2020.

Rutger Hennen opened to 20,000 from the button and saw Marius Gierse and Alexander Seibt call from the blinds.
Hennen continued for 45,000 on the A♠Q♣A♦ flop and only Seibt called. The latter then check-called for 45,000 on the 9♥ turn. Seibt, who had less than 90,000, moved all in on the K♥ river and was snap-called.
Seibt tabled A♥3♠ while Hennen had A♣J♥. Seibt then celebrated the chop pot, with Hennan calling the poker vlogger lucky as the king and queen on the board nullified his jack kicker.
On the next deal, Daniel Oterhals opened to 20,000 from the hijack. Seibt and Francisco Benitez called from the blinds. Oterhals bet 17,000 on the Q♠6♥5♦ flop. Only Benitez called. The 2♦ turn and 7♥ river checked through to showdown and Benitez took down the pot with his Q♥2♥.
The following hand, Rohit Mariwalla opened to 21,000 from early position before Seibt jammed for 188,000 from the button. Action folded back to Mariwalla.
"I don't think I can fold this one," said Mariwalla, who only just had Seibt covered. He eventually put in calling chips and the cards went on their backs.
Alexander Seibt: 10♣10♠
Rohit Mariwalla: 9♣9♠
Seibt was in great shape for a double up, which he received after remaining best on the sweat-free 7♥4♠3♥2♦4♦ runout.

Dan Smith will be a force to be reckoned with today having bagged a top ten stack going into Day 3. For Smith, a victory in this event would be extra special as he would become just the tenth player to complete Poker's Triple Crown.
